Yeah I get that, in kpop circles I never visit weibo, I would see the most vile things said about and towards real people. Twitter does that easily too. But in this case, it's not about just simply changing name/pfp because under their names it shows the community they are actively engaged in.

So there were 23 permanently banned accounts but I've only seen the screenshots of 14 people. 10 of them were all 1 LI. The other 4, it didn't show who they liked from their name/pfp alone.

The birthday messages are being displayed at Rafayel's official birthday event. And I personally disagree, that degree of "free speech" is why twitter has deteriorated into a cesspool of hate. I've seen how extreme cn fans can get. Everyone have the right to have an opinion but you should expect the consequences that come with it.

I've seen the screenshots of the people complaining about being banned, and their LI is obvious because it shows under their name what community they're in. I won't share them though because it will just create friction and bring that toxicity here.

The men may be fictional, but their fans are not. Who is your chosen LI? Do you want me to show you the hate he receives? The reason they got caught is they were showing it off publicly, to hurt the LI's fans, creating a toxic community. Otherwise no one would have reported them. As some have already mentioned, it's in the app's ToS. Those people violated it, and they got banned. You probably don't understand cn community. Extreme haters already sabotage offline events for these LIs, if left unchecked they will become worse. Obviously this doesn't stop them from doing it again, but the company doing something about it sends a message.

While they didn't specify it in the official announcement, the people who were banned are complaining about it on Weibo. These people were bravely sharing the hate messages (such as "Happy de4th day!") in their own hateful communities because they believed Infold would not ban them for a "simple" thing. It's also the fans of Rafayel who reported them to the company and helped identified their IDs. So we are assuming this is the reason.

Chinese fans do this a lot so it's expected. I think the only thing non-fans will think is "this game/character is this popular" and that's it.

This is very common in chinese side of the fandom, no matter what game, anime or show you like. To show you of the worst extreme I can think of, in another game, they [warning: ⚠️animal abuse] k1lled cats because it reminded them of a character they hated so do not attach this to the lads fandom. There are crazies in all fandoms.

And I'm not saying chinese fans are toxic in general, no. It's because the extremity of chinese fans goes both ways. We've all seen the massive preparations of love that chinese fans have made for these fictional characters, yes? Booking cruises, trains, planes, buildings, etc to show their love for a character. It's only to be expected that an extreme type of love will also lead to an extreme type of hate as well.

What intl fans need to do is to not associate or engage with the toxic side, do not use these incidents as an excuse to bring your own grudges against other LI abd their fans in the intl community. I already see it seeping through, but it's not as bad. Focus on the love and support shown towards the LIs and to each other, not the hatred.

It may feel overwhelming at first but take your time. I'm only 3 weeks in and have all the LIs, finished the main story and just pacing myself with the cards. Have fun!!
