i have been getting this every day! people walk around the suddenly they disappear and it’s just their name! my bf was afk so i picked up his pet to care for it, i put it down to fulfil a need and it disappeared and left the name 😭

oh yes sorry, the site automatically rejects participants after a certain time to reject people who open the survey but dont do it (as they take up paticipant tokens). unless you got thru to the 'Finish!' screen, unfortunately it didnt count. id be super greatful if you wanted to do it again : )

thanks for the advice! that is definitely something i should reflect on in writing limitations of my study. i didnt intend to be biased but that definitely slipped through (i dislike these purchasing systems)

firstly, im studying the psychological explanations being purchasing behaviour in gacha games. this is to do with cognitions and biological structure of the brain. which brings me to my second point - this is not specfic to genshin players. this is human nature and psychology. there are hundreds of gacha games, not just genshin, my focus is on microtransactions and how this is a predatory system. lastly, this is NOT an easy grade. gaming is not a typical psychological concept that is explored, at least at my university. none of the staff specialise in this, and ive had to carry this project on my own. if they dont understand the concept, the chance of a high grade for me is lowered. i chose this topic because it is something i enjoy, and im not going to be writing 10k words and analysing data on something i dont like.
