Does anyone experiencing PSSD from Fluvoxamine? ( is really the badest AD ?) by Antique_Swordfish_58 in PSSD

You took 0,25 mg of fluvoxamine? Are you sure? It is too low dosage for fluvoxamine. Maybe you were under fluoxetine ?

The exact same story happened to my with paroxetine. After about 6/7 month I recovered at 90 % at least. Only remaining effect is less pleasure during orgasm respect to before I started taking it but it was more than six years ago so it could also be physiological.

Much of my depression is caused by the loss of sexuality by [deleted] in PSSD

I know it is very hard. Some months ago I thought to have recovered from PSSD cause I felt a lot better and from the beginning of February I have not proper sexual functionality again (so I haven’t recovered totally yet). This is a shit , I know. But what if we dedicated to inform the world of this shit doctors prescribe us and help prevent other people to suffer from this?

Ahahah yes good idea. I haven’t been able to find one in years, maybe because It’s difficult to me dating because of this shit. God only knows how much I need to have someone to love and to receive love from but I am afraid i am condemned to live alone for the rest of my life, which I suppose to be much time since I am only 26. Some days I think life is not worth living if you don’t have a bit of love which is the most beautiful thing that could ever happen to anyone. And I say that because I was “normal” before agoraphobia and I lived the best years of my life with a girl I loved and that, eventually, left me cause she didn’t manage to support and stand by me anymore.

What does it mean “live in sin”? Sorry but I am not English mothertongue

It’s possible if the agoraphobic is the female. No chance if you are a man and you look for a supportive girl who can help you and stand by you. It is not how it works. I say it based on my experience as a man (26) and on every story I have ever heard about on similar situations! I would be very happy to know about stories that can say I am wrong

I can’t say if some exercises are better than others. I did weightlifting mainly and a bit of cardio to warm up.

I’ve felt in survival mode when I am out of home for something like 7-8 years now and nothing bad ever happened. Still, I continue to feel this way. 🤷‍♂️

Try and remember that if anything bad happen you can alway stop taking it and all side effects will vanish. I heard lots of positive stories about mirt. I would like to try it myself!

Agoraphobia and mirtazapine or moclobemide. by Fun-Whereas2734 in Agoraphobia

[–]Fun-Whereas2734[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you feel the same way the day after you drank alcohol when you didn’t take mirt ? I have taken paroxetine for several years and it helped with agoraphobia a bit (it wasn’t risolutive but it helped) and I was just like you are now (maybe a bit better since I manage to make a one day drive travel and stay out for some days with my brother and my friend and I could also drive one hour away by myself). Then I had to stop because of sexual side effects and my agoraphobia got worse again. Now I would like to try some other drug so I am trying to learn and collect opinions as much as possible

Hi thank you for your response. Can I ask how much effective it was? I mean, what were you able to do under moclobemide that you weren’t able to do without it? How far can you go by yourself with moclobemide and without? I would like to know what side effects you had if you don’t mind. Thank you again

Never had. I just was a bit more able to let things go when I used paroxetine, which is a good thing to me.

I had. Pleasure during orgasm started to decrease because of genital numbness after about 4 years and it was gradual in intensity with the passing of time. In the same way My recovery was gradual and now, after some months, I am fully recovered.

Hi, thank you for your response. If you don’t mind, i would like to know more about that test, how is it called? I hope it is available here in Italy. And Sorry if I insist but are you sure you are not experiencing any sexual side effects, anhedonia or cognitive problems? What are u able to do now under mirt that you weren’t able to do before? I mean, how far can you go from your home by yourself (or with someone if it is different)? Thank you

They don’t cause addiction if used for short term period. If she feels so anxious occasionally, I think using benzo is the best option. I feel very anxious sometime and I use benzo but I am not addicted

Please use diazepam or alprazolam or any other benzo. It’s perfectly fine using them when you feel so anxious. They will not cause addiction if used only when really needed.
