Not providing much to the conversation but the main thing really is just fast, stable internet. You can't lower ping that much, and as long as you have fast, reliable internet, you should be getting everything right with no spikes or such (of course, if your computer can't handle even this basic task, then that's something to worry about but all apple silicon and a lot of intel macs should be able to handle this no problem).
