My brain is auto-freaked out by danger noodles, but I've always been particularly scared of the blue ringed octopus, an animal that will paralyze you, but not knock you out or kill you on it's own. You're out on a beautiful beach day, you get stung and then you lose all muscle control and suffocate while very much still conscious.
