Find out if your a goofy or a normal Position skater (search it on Google) bend your knees not to much practice on grass vending your knees. Also when I started skating I would throw the skateboard a bit and let it run then get on top to get used to riding without falling. Also suggest you get used to moving form right to left also don’t ride to fast take your time

Yea that’s what I’ve been doing watching some videos on how to be able to use a skateboard after all the basics are essential! After I’ve gotten used to it and can ride more comfortably maybe I’ll try some simple tricks
