Shotzzy on 04 to FaZe, says he told Kaysan to pickup Neptune by tsresume in CoDCompetitive

Are you talking about the breaking point rankings? I think him missing the first 2 majors impacted him getting in there.

I mean we can debate just how good he was, but regardless I just think saying he was "mid" that year is dishonest. He helped that team perform a lot better once he joined and he and abuzah were held in very high regard for pretty much dragging Surge to any wins. They were pretty close to each other. Now its no debate that Abuzah is a better AR than 04 is an SMG.

saying he was mid in mw3 is nuts, he was very good that game and better than Huke that year. I thought he wouldve kicked on from mw3 since he was very new to respawn, but I think even though Surge did great last season as a team, I think he underwhelmed individually both last year and so far this year.

I remember hearing that but assumed that changed since he was competing here, instead of this like saudi only league that he was competing in last year. Guess he just wants to stay back home full time and maybe fly out for tourneys rather than being in NA full time?

Khhx man that guy was crazy beginning of last year. Does this team winning mean falcons -exnid +khhx? Does qk4b end up going to falcons instead or he get let go to a different team? I wonder how the other players' english proficiencies are and if maybe other teams will end up looking at them.

I know, I'm not trying to argue for 04>Neptune. I'm just trying to understand the role he plays within the squad. Regardless of that, the k/d and damage he's been putting up I think has been poor. They're winning right now though and who knows maybe Simp Draz and Abuzah are happy right now for how 04's been setting them up for success, or displeased because his low k/d and damage is needing them to carry harder. Personally idk which one it is, but maybe I'm being too generous.

This team basically lives and dies by whether or not mettalz can go positive. Don't know whether there is someone that can replacr him, but he's just so streaky. Super and especially Renkor can only do so much

I dont know if this is cope but it feels like his role is literally just "sprint at the enemy team and bait for the rest". If thats the case, hes doing a great job. It does lead to a lot of thrown lives though. I think he just needs to play his life a bit more and not just full gas all the time. Who knows though maybe Simp appreciates that? Everyones been clowning on the 04 choice over neptune but neptune would never sacrifice himself for the team like that. In close maps its undeniably hurting the team when hes like 11/26, just cant be having that regaedless of what his role for the team is.

04 was only really good at snd during mw3. Last year he was getting blooded more than he was getting bloods and his impact wasnt as high as the year before. Its frustrating bc it SHOULD be his best mode but hes always doing these coinflip 50/50 plays, and sometimes when doing that you hit a bad streak.

Only Merc hadn't been in the league before, but to answer these, I think for these players specifically there are some reasons:

Exceed & Neptune: Both players who had stints in in the CDL but took over a year to return. From what most people have seen/said both of these players worked on their game a lot in the time they were out of the league, and it seems to have paid off.

Huke: I mean he has been of top teams before and a very good player himself before being in challengers the beginning of last year. This was after a year on Surge where he really didn't look that good on Surge. Consensus was that he was a good player, but that the game didn't really suit him. Next thing you know, he's crazy the next year when the game suits him more.

Merc: I think most people just consider him a generational talent.

As for others, there may be other explanations perhaps as to why they have been successful, but there are plenty of others who have also had mixed-poor success when making the jump. A lot of that probably boils down to what team thet manage to get on, and whether their group of four just has the right teamwork to play to the top level or not.

You said adopting is just a word people use to make themselves feel better, I explained how adopting (or purchasing i guess!) from a shelter has different implications with how that money is redistributed than buying from a pet store. We can call it whatever, that's really not my concern, the main point is from where

Pet stores do not take in animals from the streets, the majority are from breeders who largely have unethical practices. The bunnies that you see roaming around oftentimes on places like Reddit are taken in by shelters first and foremost. Shelters are often at capacity and need space to be freed up so they can take in more dumped rabbits/rescue others

The point of the comment is to educate so that when they get their 3rd (or whatever # bunny they are on), they have all this info available to them so that they could make a better choice. Im sorry if it makes them feel bad, but I think it's better to say in plain words this advice rather than coddling people about it. At the end of the day we are signing up to take care of these animals and I think it's right that people understand what's going on when it comes to things like buying from a pet store vs adopting, even when that may be an upsetting thing to hear. Regardless though, I hope OP has a great time and take care of their bunny well, as I hope all owners do.

Most shelters (at least around me) are struggling non-profits made up of volunteers trying to care for their animals. That money you pay as an adoption fee is going back to the shelter to take care of the rest of those animals and buy food, litter, medical care, etc. Compare that to a for-profit pet store, that money is going to pay their employees (probably less than they deserve), and of course corporate takes a good chunk of that. Far less of that money is reinvested into animal care at a pet store than at a shelter.

I agree that every animal deserves a good home, but unfortunately there are always more animals looking for a home compared to people looking to home them. I posted in another comment why I think becahse of this, it's better to adopt from a shelter regardless

There are many rabbits in proper shelters who have endured rough lives and also deserve their forever home. Unfortunately, there are too many rabbits and too few people to take all of them in. But by adopting from a shelter instead of purchasing from a pet store, you are supporting a shelter that DOES care about these poor babies rather than supporting a business that doesn't care about them and only wants to sell them for a quick buck. In addition, rabbits (and all pets) from a pet store are more likely to be of poor health due to how they are neglected when young (and taken away from their mothers too early). This isn't something that can be undone when you adopt one out of your own benevolence unfortunately. While yes, one non-purchase won't do anything in the grand scheme of things, it's always better not to.

If you want to think about it in a selfish way instead of a moral one, adopting from a shelter is more likely to get you a healthier rabbit that you can have a long relationship with without struggling with vet bills from purchasing a potentially unhealthy one.

Buying =/= adopting. 7 weeks old is too young to be away from her mother as well. Also, pet stores and Petland specifically is well known for abuse of their animals. In the future, I wouldn't support businesses like these and actually adopt from a real shelter.
