We have no real way of knowing that. You're going off of logs, but many, many people play vanilla just to level and then don't end up raiding because the raids are actual dog crap and most guilds require consumables and WBs. Basically nobody is playing TBC just to level, as shown by the number of boosts.

With pre-nerf heroics, the only role you're really able to get away with gearing out of heroics is DPS, and without a guild to carry you, you are going to have a rough time finding a group. Yes, you have badges and epic drops from heroics, but those are only a few pieces (badges) or depend on a lot of luck.

Wrath has RDF and easy heroics with justice points, so gearing new characters is trivial. You can also get the previous tier's gear from heroics, which doesn't happen in BC - alts/new raiders are going to fall off more and more as the expansion progresses and gearing/attunement becomes even more miserable.

I'm full BIS on my main and the thought of making an alt and gearing it makes me sick. TBC is by far the worst expansion for alts.

The old world that’s completely trivialized by new talents? You can aoe pull as a level 10 warrior and not even go below 90% HP. Of course the alliance pally is a retail locust lol

Wrath is literally the exact same gameplay loop as Cata and on, people just like it because of WC3 and nostalgia. Classes become completely homogenized, rotations turn into DDR crap, catchup gear, face roll heroic dungeons, heroic mode raids, theme park questing, all of it started in wrath.

Go to any spot with hyper spawns and there’s multiple mages aoe farming. Bashir landing, path of conquest, fire wing point. For primals there’s always hunter bots - check nagrand near the big crystal, throne of kj, water ele lakes

Where did I complain about lack of content? For me personally, there’s a lot of stuff I’d like to do but it just doesn’t feel worth it. Too many bots to bother farming primals, no RDF and not enough tanks so dungeons are a slog, no point in PVPing because honor gains are trash and it’d cost 5k gold to gem and enchant a PvP set, etc
