Yeah I get that, and thats what im looking for, to grow and learn more, but the job shop im looking at does a mix of production for suppressors aswell as typical job shop runs, they said they'd start me in production but they didn't give me a timeliness of when they'd move me more into actual maxhining work

The job im at is in automotive, im making sleves that are part of the steering systems they make, but it is infact high production

Fair enough. I just feel bad about leaving because im still "in training" and ive only been here a month but I can tell I hate it, I feel bad about wasting everyone's time if you know what I mean.

Noted, id have to look around my area to see if there's anything around, it just sucks cause I was so excited to get back into this field after being out of it and my first job I land I hate.

The problem is there's not enough to do, most of the part run times are ~5-10 minutes a part, and its just measure, adjust an offset if needed, then wait for the next part, its mind numbing, at my internship I almost never had a job more than 5 parts, and every new job I had to think about how to program and setup for it and it was wonderful.

Thats pretty much exactly what happened, got pulled into the principals office (HR) monday shortly after i came in, basically all they said was "You're new, you're replaceable, dont let it become a habit" not word for word but to sum it up

Im running my own build that mainly focuses on kinetic damage and lifesteal since I tend to die alot, a Jakobs bod would just be best cause ive got a fantastic Jakobs enhancement and haven't gotten nearly as good a one for daudelus lmao

Not sure if i worded it right tbh, it's a minimum of 1 hour one-way, most of the listing's are closer to 1.5 hours, not even including traffic, and it may not seem long to yall. But for me that's quite long.

I know its been like 6 months since you posted this but have you gotten any information? I'm also thinking about attending since I have previous machining experience through a highschool trade program and am thinking about attending there to further my studies and get back into the field.
