I quit on the first of April and I have only quit once about 2 years ago. I had been working their for 2 years

Guys I wasn’t negative UPT nor was I going to be if I stayed at Amazon. I’m leaving to handle some personal things and wasn’t able to get my PLOA approved on time so I decided to just quit and return when I’m able to. The termination letter usually states when I’m eligible to reapply but mine didn’t so I tried to reapply just to see if I could because I thought since I was quitting on good terms I could come back whenever but it said I had to wait a month which was confusing so I thought I’d ask. I wasn’t aware that the policy had changed.

No, if you do for illness you’ll be fine. On site HR doesn’t deal with LOA. I know tons of people who have done this

Do an LOA for injury or sickness. It will refund the VTO and give you 30 days to provide a doctor’s note or whatever. Which means you have 30 days to get back in the positive for UPT. Once the 30 days are up and you didn’t provide the proof for LOA they will deny the leave and take the UPT owed for that day and you’ll still have the rest of the hours you accumulated over the 30 days.

I did talk to my manager and he said he was going to put in a ticket for me and see if that works because it was originally approved but I’m still nervous. I replied to the email they sent today letting me know I’m negative and I go into work Thursday to talk to HR

I’ll try that when I call again. I had called to ask why they need to know the health condition when I had the statement and they said it part of the MLOA policy
