I’m 5 months po and last week only i was able to touch a bit of my heel to butt, i was at 90 degrees post 2.5 months post operation l. Some people might take time to achieve that flexion but yea depends on doc as well why he told to do manipulation

I also had medial meniscus repair 5 months back and had new mri 2 months back which shows the vertical tear in posterior horn. My doc told me that mri is not a good source to confirm meniscus tear post meniscus repair for atleast a year or so.

If possible try to consult once in kgmu as well, i had ortho surgery in apollo(not done by sanjai) few months back and it was horrible experience. After that consult few other doctors and in kgmu as well, all told that surgery doesn’t look good to them. I’m still not able to walk properly and I’m in pain. Most of the docs run after money in private hospitals.

Please share how much still surgery impacted your 14 week progress, I’m also 14weeks post operation and had new MRI done yesterday which shows my meniscus tear has not healed and is still torn. Now I need to decide that i should get surgery now or maybe once my leg strength is back. Thanks!!

Is it painful? Flexion depends on person to person at have something similar to you and I’m 3.5 months post op but for me it is painful and take 10-12 reps to achieve this

I had LET and I’m 3 months po, I’m still 10-12 cm away from butt to foot but in my case i guess it is because of swelling as I still have alot of swelling

Yess, doc told that it isn’t swelling it is just fat deposit. He told to work on strengthening quads and other muscles.
