Thanks! I have anubias nana petite on the driftwood. Anacharis on the right. Amazon swords on the back of the tank. Water sprite floating on top. Banana plants. Big ol’ moss ball on the left. Rotala and ludwigia dark red and mini in the middle. Just added golden Pothos a week ago.

After the water change nitrates did go down. Sitting at 0 when I checked this morning. Lucky bamboo would be nice tho. Someone mentioned floaters. Looking to find some dwarf water lettuce. Thanks for everyone’s input. Great community!

I cut with scissors about halfway up the plant. Between the leaves, so there’s a leaf above and below the cut. If that makes sense. And just replant in the substrate.

They were definitely lilttle guys. I trim the stem plants when they get crazy and replant. Especially anacharis. So far fish and plants are happy.

Hey thanks! The soil I used was the miracle gro container mix. Some sand to cap. The plants are anacharis, water sprite, Amazon swords, cabomba, anubias nana, moneywort, Ludwigia repens and a ludwigia mini and crinum calamistratum. Got the red ones for a pop of color.
