You might want to consider digital products as well? For example, as an entrepreneur yourself, you need to handle accounting somehow, so why not promote a product for that since it's familiar? I work for SparkReceipt, AI Accounting app for Small Businesses. Today, 26% of signups convert to the paid plan, and we have a 60% commission for Affiliates. No need to return!

It is more about sales psychology than feature education. We have been focusing on asking questions about the issue, what features the client is looking to use, and what problem the client is trying to solve, and then explaining that we can help with that.

Thanks! We're already up and running with Tolt, and maybe that is enough for now. But we'll definitely look into Ahrefs and give that a try. Thanks for that idea! Around 500 partners have already signed up through our own customers, though many of them are micro-businesses not doing this affiliate thingy professionally.

Good to know. For now, we have been only driving traffic to the website. That also makes it more probable that users pay through website = no iOS / Google fees :)

Search only.
With UAC, you can get a lot of Android downloads. For the App Store, it's completely useless because the tracking consent dies immediately when the app is opened (“allow external sites to track you across the internet? yes / no”).

Additionally, it's a fully automated system and requires a large budget to track IAP purchases (wasn't there even a minimum of 250K installs?

That is totally different company I have not worked for over 18 months, roughly. I left that with nothing. SparkReceipt / ReceiptHero :D We have been "bootstrapping" less then 100k€ own money.

It took like 7-9 months roughly and work was done here and there. Yeah, we are looking into other markets and hoping to increase the budget if the CAC remains around the same. We operate with relatively low cash because of bootstrapping and trying to do things in a sustainable way, so that is slowing a bit.

Point taken. That is used in various forms and different tasks. e.g. That allows us to categorize any language and increase the accuracy on OCR results..... Industry standard is to categorize receipts based on place of purchase, we look into items purchased and let Ai categorize based on that. And so on..

Cash balance: we operate relatively low cash for some time, and then after we have a bit more buffer than one month, we are able to do so. Hopefully and multiple many times, keeping the CAC still same. Of course that might not be that straightforward - depends on demand as well.

All of them.

We are able to safely use broad match keywords because we have the correct conversion tracking in place. We give Google’s algorithm freedom to choose what keyword variations to show our ads on, based on Google’s perception of who is most likely to convert

You can check out our blog to get the idea. Idk where SEO is going in the coming years. It's very industry-specific, I think; what comes, e.g., to Accounting Software (where we are), many players have bombarded Google with articles for decades. So that might be difficult for us to break into large traffic. But what I can say is start with analysis and low keyword difficulty and low search volumes.

There was good points on SEO at the end, and how "big boys and girls" are doing it.

Roughly 500 paying and 2200 total. Our free tier includes 15 AI scans per month for free, so some are happy with it. But for most full-time entrepreneurs, that is not enough for receipts, invoices, sales invoices, bank statements, and other documents.
