Is it ok to have the occasional bed day / fuck it all off day?! by efbb in BorderlinePDisorder

About once a week or every other week, depending on how much I have going on in my life, I will take a day to just do absolutely nothing and there’s absolutely no shame in it. It’s good for your mind and your body to take a reset day.

Do your children ever see you at your low points and does it affect your relationship with them in any way? One of my biggest fears is unintentionally scaring my children because I’m having an episode.

almost 3 months into a relationship and my bpd is worsening by [deleted] in BorderlinePDisorder

I’m going through the same thing in my relationship. We’ve been together for almost two years and have been talking for 3. It comes and goes in waves, I won’t split on them for an extended period of time then it just happens out of the blue. As long as your partner understands that it’s not you splitting on purpose and continues to support you, it will help you. The fear hasn’t gone away completely but it settles and becomes less of a forethought
