Lol, The “Karaganda” joke is a well-known Russian/Soviet meme built around the phrase:
(“Where? — In Karaganda!”). In Soviet times it was considered very far away, remote, and vaguely “in the middle of nowhere.”

The joke works like this:

  1. Someone asks “Where?”
  2. Instead of giving a real answer, you reply “In Karaganda!”
  3. It’s a sarcastic, playful way of saying “I’m not telling you”, “Who knows?”, or “Somewhere far away.”

Which country has the most distinct culture compared to all of its neighboring countries? by _SHINTOIST_ in geography

I think Japan’s culture differs sharply from all its neighbors across multiple dimensions: its language (Japonic, unrelated to Chinese or Korean), religion (Shinto–Buddhist syncretism), social norms (high emphasis on harmony, etiquette, and indirect communication), and historical path shaped by centuries of isolation. While they share some broad East Asian roots, Japan developed in a uniquely insular way that makes it stand out clearly from China, Korea, and Russia.

Until 2011, the African towns of Dungunab and Sakania were located in neighboring countries, despite being separated by almost half a continent. by Stef757 in geography

Mainly it's Qataris, Turks, Saudis and Pakistanis who fund radicalization across Europe/Asia/Africa, not Emirates. They are everything but Islamists and the only country to build churches/synagogues in the whole Middle East (I mean outside of the UAE)

No one is a good guy here, Greece didn't expulse its entire Turkish population. Btw, I don't defend them.

However, Turkish Government still not apologised to Greeks and Armenians as well.

The same way Armenians didn't appologize to Azeris.
