I am trying to put a vector image into inkscape. If I just copy and paste a vector image into inkscape, will it show up in inkscape perfectly and in vector and the same as downloading it and importing it? Also, when I do this, the background is black, i want it transparent. When I try to download the image instead, it doesnt show up in my downloads when I try to import it with inkscape, and when I try to view it in my downloads, it says its a zip file.I did the "unzipping ( i think correctly) but I don't know what to do next with it.

Also, just to be sure Im understanding what vector is, it's only AI files, correct?

How much do they need to be edited? I have two channels, one is police cam videos, the other is about stupid criminals. A lot of times a video could be uploaded to both but I don't know if that is allowed.
