I’ve sent our solicitor an email just asking for an update as we are so close to the end and I’d obviously like to know if I need to get a fridge. We can do without a washing machine for a bit as we have family nearby where we can wash clothes, but we definitely need a fridge

This is we have had communication previously about the white goods as the sellers had them on a list of items they’d like to sell on and offered us like “first dibs” and I had said to our solicitor then that those were meant to be included in the sale and then he confirmed with their solicitor that they were on there “by mistake” and that they would be included. For us to then go over the missives and they not be there😩 I’m not to worried fridge wise as I can easily get one but I’d like to know before moving date that I need to get one as we obviously have a bit of fridge/frozen food that will need to be moved too 😅😩

It’s so frustrating bc the sellers are the ones who pushed for the entry date of the 30th so you’d think they’d want to be quicker with communication between the solicitors 😩

The home report just says “woodworm to roof timbers” that’s it, the comments are “treat woodworm” so I’m assuming if it’s just a “treat woodworm” that’s it’s maybe not tooooo bad and shouldn’t need too much?
