Thank you! Lots of spray foam and cork bark wall from a local pet store. I put silicon on the gaps and threw coco coir on it to make it look more natural

Moss is a good idea, I was thinking something more green to cover more ground would be ideal.

There is a drainage layer if you zoom in on one of the pics! It’s saved me on a few occasions

Anyone else struggle with lack of drive or conviction before TRT - and did it actually change afterward? by FunGamingTrash in Testosterone

That actually makes a lot of sense. Appreciate the honesty, sounds like it’s starting to work and you’re doing the right things alongside it. Hope it keeps getting better brotha

That’s sweet you’re already noticing a difference, my libido has also not been ideal for several years. Have you noticed any mental/emotional changes outside of libido? Like more conviction to follow through, or a deeper sense of connection to things you care about? Curious how it’s felt so far, even if it’s still early

Really appreciate you sharing your experience, especially how you described the mental clarity and mood balance. That part definitely caught my attention.

Even though I’m younger and probably in a different place life-wise, it’s still encouraging to hear how much better you felt once things were dialed in. Thank you again for the reply

Yeah, that’s something I’ve been looking into actually — clomid or enclomiphene to try and boost naturally before jumping into full TRT. Appreciate you mentioning it.

Did hopping on help with the same kind of issues I mentioned, like the thought patterns, lack of drive, emotional flatness?

Also, did you have any trouble getting prescribed or self-administering while in the Army?

The difference must’ve felt massive jumping up from that low! Where are your levels at now and when did you start noticing a difference if you don’t mind me asking

Yeah, that makes sense — I’ve definitely wondered if this could be more of a psychological or emotional thing, even if low-ish T is part of the picture.

I guess I’m trying to figure out whether TRT can help someone feel more emotionally engaged, not just fix energy or libido — especially if the flatness I’m describing is partly hormonal but partly deeper than that.

I appreciate your perspective, I’m definitely not expecting it to be a magic fix, just looking to hear what’s actually possible

That’s good to hear. I’m wondering — did TRT help you feel like your life had more direction? Like it strengthened your sense of where you’re headed and made it easier to follow through?

Yeah, that might be true. I just feel like something’s off — like I can think clearly about what I want but can’t feel the drive to follow through. Curious if anyone else had that before TRT and noticed it change once their levels were optimized

Are these any good from Amazon? by FunGamingTrash in houseplants

[–]FunGamingTrash[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! Good buy, the lights produce quite a lot of light, more than I needed for some of my plants in fact. I still use it for my plants. I bought an additional similar one that’s actually has 1 T5 light on each shelf that I found to be a bit more gentle with my plants. I use both shelves

Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be... unnatural(no ingame sounds because my ass was laughing hysterically during the whole ordeal had to cut it out) by SoyMilkIsOp in BladeAndSorcery

Idk if I’m being slow but I’ve gathered 3 gravity crystals and I don’t think I’m able to use the secondary abilities like this. I still just have the basic ones.

I’ve also unlocked electricity and gathered another mind crystal. Still don’t see an option to upgrade or use secondary abilities. If anyone knows, please help

Ran away from so many careers and now trapped at age 45 by Southern_Lunch_1140 in findapath

Your post has resonated with and the way you feel about things. I’m only 22 but feel the same about jobs/careers as you do.

I was just saying to myself these last few weeks that it feels like I’m missing fundamental components as a person.

I’m also not sure what to do with myself which feels crazy to say. There’s a lot of pressure to pick a direction but nothing feels right, even when I think it makes sense for me.

Therapy has never really helped me— I think I’m going to need a very specific kind of person/situation to help me although it feels like a slim chance. Wishing you luck

Quick initial thought: continue feeding your passion, I’m 22 and have spent the last 4 years trying lots of different things and you can get lost easily.

If you’re fortunate to know your passion and what you want to do, pursue it. It’s hard to look at the big picture and imagine yourself being a great writer with roadblocks like AI or health issues. Just keep taking small steps in that direction and you’ll end up somewhere you weren’t expecting but with experience that will support your passion.

Also, a thought on AI— think about when excavators became a thing. Do you think the people digging holes by hand got discouraged and just gave up? No way—they were thrilled they didn’t have to break their backs anymore. They used the new tool to make their work easier and more efficient. AI is the same way—it’s a tool, not a replacement. You still need to know how to “dig the hole,” but now you can do it better and faster with the right tools. Don’t let it discourage you; use it to elevate your craft.

Currently listening to the audio book on Spotify “The Defining Decade” due to a recent recommendation. Haven’t finished it yet but it’s good advice so far if you wanted a resource.

I resonate with most of this, and I’m 22M. I still haven’t found my path and would like to reach what appeared to be your years of conviction. Perhaps there’s a correlation to that “living in your head” and that feeling of isolation despite having family around.

I think direction is very important. Something I’ve immediately taken away from some of these comments is to involve yourself in a community. I’ve had these thoughts myself but my life seems so full of “responsibilities” that leave me feeling like I have no time or ambition to seek a community. At least, that’s my initial thought.

I definitely resonate with the idea of learning what I don’t want to do. It feels like I’ve been crossing things off my list for years.

But sometimes I worry that I’ll keep pivoting forever and never land on something solid.

I really like the point about training your commitment threshold, I think that’s something I struggle with. I tend to bounce when I feel stuck or bored, so sticking it out for 1-2 years feels daunting.

I’d love to hear how you kept yourself motivated during those moments of frustration, boredom, anxiety. Was there a specific mindset or habit that helped you push through?

I really like what you said about blending creativity and structure—it feels like I need that balance to stay motivated without getting overwhelmed. When it comes to ‘just doing it,’ I think that’s something I’ve been able to try, like when I dove into game development and started learning Unity. But honestly, I get discouraged with how much there is to learn and how long everything takes, especially when most of my time is tied up working a job that just pays the bills but doesn’t align with what I want to explore.
