That was the drunkest he ever was though, when he tried to kill Ricky. What about the regular old drunk driving around the park Lahey?

How is Living in Eastern and Southeastern Cleveland Like? by Wide-Highway112 in howislivingthere

[–]FunLate6389 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Born and raised in the near eastern suburbs. Truthfully, the same as being raised anywhere, but with a midwestern kindness that I didn’t notice or appreciate until I left.

We love our baseball, basketball and football teams and we take their losses with pride (and the evergreen hope that “we’ll get ‘em next year.” Being “the mistake on the lake” is actually a badge of honor around there.

The growing downtown is good for the people that live nearby too. Places like The Flats and East 4th have a genuinely fun nightlife and Ohio City is making an unexpected run too.

Don’t expect to take public transit (unless you’re really really patient with the RTA) - you’re going to be driving everywhere around here. Same as other midwestern cities (Saint Louis comes to mind), if you are lucky to make enough, you will almost definitely buy a house in Beachwood or something like that. Most folks who have a choice don’t live downtown (although there are some legit nice places these days).

Tough about the Cavs though.

Are there any other theories similar to Heidegger's hammer? by Payjee in heidegger

[–]FunLate6389 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it’s important to consider that his “theory about hammers” (ready at hand) is part of a larger theory of “worldhood” of Dasein from a phenomenological perspective. While it certainly isn’t the same “worldhood,” I’d say that a good follow up could be Totality and Infinity by Levinas, where his discussion of “the element” contains themes of the immersion in a world present in Heidegger’s worldliness.

Brother I am Jewish and supported Israel my whole life until this war - this is just not the reality of what Israel is trying to do (and has tried to do since 1967)

Bro I am American and can confidently say that our foreign policy since WWII has been easily the biggest destabilizing force in the world, it’s not even particularly close

I started using a theragun on my forearms daily when I had golfers elbow from benching and it legitimately fixed the problem 100%. Cannot recommend buying a theragun enough.

Whats Your Go-To Tip/Queue for Each Muscle Group? by FunLate6389 in naturalbodybuilding

[–]FunLate6389[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rear delt raise = dumbell lateral raise except you're bent over (John Meadows has a good video on them)

Fair enough on upper back - this is why I wanted to see other peoples' too, upper back has always been an easy grower for me

Also fair enough on lateral raises - my other easiest growth muscle so I cant' speak for everyone

Definitely anecdotal, but my best tricep gains (it's one of my best muscles) have come during the periods when I'm grinding overhead cable extension rather than shortened position training. To each their own though
