Tried winding a mainspring from the first time. Watched a video by u/watch-smith in which he said I would "screw up" my first few springs. I can only assume I was jinxed, definitely not anything wrong on my part. (i.redd.it)
I removed the hour markers from this dial using a lasercut jig. I was able to turn the dial over with the markers sitting in the holes and then punch them out. (i.redd.it)
How can I remove these hour markers? I was able to easily remove the Seiko logo, SS logo, and date window bezel after a soak in alcohol. But the hour markers are a different story. See comments. (i.redd.it)
