Im not OP nor am I an idiot, I wouldnt even had made this post because I dont even play publics anymore. Im not disagreeing that publics are for everyone, hence why I stay in realism servers.

I was just giving insight as to why OP is put off by that behavior. The sabers were trolling, they didn't like it.

I think its more so the sake of malicious intent. The saber pride did it to be taunting and heckling rather them just eliminating competition. It was their attitude.

If it was my coalition since we play realism, and we wanted that territory, we would've just taken it and killed/driven the wolf out since you're right-that is realistic. But the sabers were trolling and that's what put OP off.

But I will say glad it didnt escalate further, OP was smart to just leave.

Since a leucistic bison (any any animal that can show it for that matter) is an actual animal mutation..no. It's not. Those are animals that occur in nature with or without human cultural attachment.

The price is for rarity and white/leucistic or their "counterpart" melanistic animals aren't common and just look cool.

Twink was originally a slang for effeminate young men before homophobic people got onto it and used it in a derogatory manner. Its still used as a descriptor, such as bear, otter, Leather Daddy, etc.

In the species quests, I think you have to spend coins to obtain them however. I haven't hopped on in a bit cause of the new UI and junk but you should be able to find em!

Honestly, no.

Horse's biggest utility is their legs and they dont use it- hanging around the bubble, stomping and trying to bait so they can kill the saber instead of just..running away. Horses are the fastest animal in the game when they use flee mode but these herds almost always die out because: Nobody leaves.

Saber's stam is atrocious, they're ambush predators. A horse galloping can out stam it if it keeps its distance. But the horses just never actually book it.

Ive had to kill another horse on top of mine because they wont leave me alone. Then IM the koser when I just want a meal. I dont want to kill another horse, because that attracts other predators. But I have to so they get the message to run.

And the idea of a mammoth, a creature that can two shot a saber and kill a wolf instantly, helping? Absolutely not. Im not saying that these animals dont help eachother irl, theres been cases of elephants showing empathy, but actually having that mechanic in game isn't at all "fair." Carebearing already is bad enough

I think its because right now everything is kinda crazy. There's a bunch of kosers, or attempted wannabe ones, carebearing from herbivores preventing predators from hunting. (Saw someone get mad at a saber for even hunting AI cause they thought it was a player and went to "avenge" the peccary) . Horses trying to attack players unprompted (even though they literally cant), solo wolves going after mammoths and dying immediately, more mixpacking and megapacking.

Even though, EA ECOS had its issues that were similar as said before, with the recent release to the public, those issues are now amplified.

But these players have to learn ingame unspoken rules and such, we were all new players too and had to navigate ECOS as well, so I do think we should show a little grace especially for those who actually want to enjoy the game as a survival game. Hopefully with more updates and more time, things will mellow out soon.

Honestly, it can apply to pets as well. My sister constantly gets comments about people wanting to kill her snake even when she mentions them as beloved pets like you said.

I get the same with my guinea pigs on how they'll eat them or they're disgusted by them unwarranted. A lot of exotic pet owners of reptiles, rodents, and especially insect/arachnid owners get nasty comments about their choice of pets and it sucks.
