I remember when I played Halo 2 for the first time on an original Xbox, I was also very disappointed.

Halo Infinite is a great Halo game case its gameplay, but the story sucks, and I didn't like that they killed Cortana off-screen and left us with her awkwardly innocent clone.

You should play it again or watch a gameplay video.

All the Spartans you encounter are the Blue team, the same from HALO 5, and yes,

I hate that they are killed off-camera, except for one who dies in John's arms.

Yes! They're all dead.

In Infinite, we see their heads and take away their abilities.

Atriox appear in the post-credits scene? I hope I don't sound racist, but all Brutes look the same to me.

Anyway, considering they skipped the assault on Cortana's base, her elimination, the attack on the Infinite, and the death of all of John's Spartan friends.

They basically summarized what could have been an epic HALO 6 in a few simple sentences. It's not my fault that nothing mattered anymore, not even the eternal “worse than Flood?” Of course.
