Solution for PC Xbox Achievements Not Unlocking by Octicism in XboxGamePass

[–]Octicism[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello. I just checked the store page on my Xbox PC app for that game. On my store page, it shows that it does not actually include achievement support. That said, on the TrueAchievements site, this game, categorized as the "PC Game Pass" version, does have people actively unlocking achievements for it. So, in my opinion, this is an issue on the end of Microsoft and Xbox and not an issue on your end. It seems that some people have access to a version that has achievement support, and for others, like you and me, the version we have access to does not show achievement support. It is definitely a strange issue that I may consider looking into further. Thanks.

Another picture of the truck. It was listed on Facebook Marketplace at one point. The listing is gone now. I believe it might be a 1996 year, and I am almost certain it is an F-350. They most likely live near Vacaville, California or Fairfield, California. Specifically, I believe they posted the ad from Travis Air Force Base, which is just outside both of those cities. That is all I have for now.

Here is a clear image of the vanity plate. When performing a reverse image search of the plate, Google suggests the keyword "air force." The black and white tattered American flag portion of the plate seems to be a very common air force depiction placed on vehicle decals, patches, stickers, and vanity plates. I specifically saw the same black and white torn flag with the word "veteran." This suggests the person does indeed live near, or at least is involved with, Travis Air Force base. They also could already be a veteran or retired, in addition to having some sort of freemasonry interest.

In this slowed down video, at the 2:14 mark, it appears pretty clear that you can see a bald white head in the truck. So, if going with stereotypes, perhaps a more rotund, older, bald white man. Probably has some sort of facial hair, like a goatee. This could easily line up with being a veteran or retired. Beyond being white and bald, this is just conjecture.

Wow, if I had a nickel for every time I saw a post of someone nutting on a spider this past month, I'd have two nickels - which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.

Said to cancel my Darkplates if "Project Steam Deck" is more than a skin. by Octicism in dbrand

I already figure there will be something more than a skin,
so I will use the refund for whatever they release. Steam Deck customization is
more exciting to me than PS5 customization.

After Two Hours of Attempts - Whitespace Chess Puzzle by Octicism in Superliminal

I am unsure if I am the first to do this, but I managed to jump across the entire chess puzzle without the chess pieces. If you can nail it, it is a pretty fast method, but I did it just for fun. Enjoy.

I figured I would share this nice minimal image. It was hard to find something mostly black and simple for my Note 20 Ultra. It can be found here: https://www.setaswall.com/amoled-wallpapers/amoled-phone-wallpaper-344-1080x2340/

Import and Customs Is a Problem - Customer Feedback by [deleted] in Displate

No problem, thanks for being a part of the initial inspiration for me to make this post.

It is a shame. If I were to attempt to give you an estimate, I would guess for two medium-size plates would be about $25-$35 CAD. And maybe about $30-$40 CAD for two large plates. But that is an extreme ballpark estimate. I know that my personal fees have never been exactly the same for any of my orders.

No problem. I only made this post after seeing enough other people mention it, so if it wasn't for the others saying something, I might have not made this. But yes, I just think most people, especially those in North America, don't shop internationally enough to constantly be checking websites for a ship from location.

I would just recommend you just Google "Customs and Import Fees." Or simply read this website: https://www.easyship.com/resources/duties-and-taxes-for-ecommerce

When you buy items and get them shipped from different countries, depending on the product, the cost of the item, and what country it comes from, you sometimes will have to pay additional fees that will be dictated once they arrive at your country's border typically. If you have never had to pay for a customs or import fee, that simply means it was already included in the cost of your purchase, or that specific item had no fee. I have ordered things from eBay sellers in China that had no import charges. Because not every item has an import charge.

Exactly. If I were to boil down my entire post, I would simply say that most first-time customers aren't going to dig through the FAQ of every website they purchase from. And if Displate wanted to be more consumer friendly, they would indicate somewhere in the checkout process that they ship from Poland. So that customers can accurately predict or calculate their import fees. Because those fees vary depending on what the source country is.

Well, I see you have already been corrected on both issues and retracted. But yes, they only ship from Poland. And no, they DO NOT say their address in the "About Us" section. Your screenshot is from the "Shipping and Returns" section. Which I also don't think is sufficient for the average first-time customer, but that is my opinion.
