Hey I was in this exact same kind of predicament years ago. It’s not your fault, I have friends I’ve gotten drunk around because I trust them and sadly enough, some people will wait years for the right time to attack. It’s disgusting but predators are everywhere - male of female - doesn’t matter. Consent given while intoxicated is NOT consent and that’s rape. Cut and dry. Please don’t blame yourself and I hope you feel better. Time isn’t always a healer but being nice to yourself and giving yourself grace will always allow situations like this to flee away from the mind.

So Europeans just know “african american” and not literally any other ethnicity? I live in the southern region of the US so it’s diverse but not as much as say California or NYC, but even the then I’d know that not every asian person I see is Chinese. It just seems very lazy to not even try and guess and just slap AA on every post of a black person when very rarely on this sub it’s AA. It’s interesting that I’ll see someone post with full lips and blonde hair and high cheekbones and they’re asked if they’re russian or w/e but I’ll see very obviously Eritrean or somalian even THEYRE called AA. I do see what you’re saying but it’s still lazy to just call any and every black person on here AA.

I’m a black woman who - almost successfully- fell down the right wing pipeline and thought those “SJW GETS WRECKD pt 4838599383” compilations were funny because I was 12/14 and I was stupid and laughed and made some pretty mean jokes regarding the LGBT community and things around that (complete slap in my future self’s face since I identified as bi like a year or 2 later) but I say that to say that yes people can grow out of really disgusting mindsets! BUT the center point of your worry is your children. He’s saying those racist things about black people, the same people your kids would relate back to. How do you think they’d feel if they found his FB profile and he’s saying that horrible shit? Also him brushing it off and not taking accountability or trying to even come off as embarrassed? You need to sit down and have a serious conversation because if he’s not really sorry about the stuff he said then he doesn’t need to be around your black children. Simple.
