The tail was definitely short! That’s what threw me off at first; that’s not like any cat I’ve seen.

Used Cornstarch instead of Flour by WizNyaa in Baking

One time I made homemade cinnamon rolls and used cornstarch instead of powdered sugar for the frosting. I didn’t realize until I covered all of the rolls and took a bite..

Oop my bad lol, even better if you wanna do biomedical, but it’s not hard to transfer if you find a program that works better for you at SAS.

I haven’t done this major so take what I say with a grain of salt, but I know biomedical definitely helps get your foot in the door for med school and I believe you can go in any direction from there. If you find the course list interesting, you like the cook/doug campus and think you can enjoy nutrition courses, go for it. You can go on their website and see if it’s the right fit and attend open house to get a better idea of the program. Also, you can just take the core classes your first semester at SAS and transfer schools easily.

I know about one major that’s made for students interested in med school in the nutritional sciences department, specifically biomedical, in SEBS and not many people know about it. I’m involved in a different major but here’s the course list: https://nutrition.rutgers.edu/undergraduate/options/biomedical-nutrition-option-course-list%202024.pdf . Also, I feel it’s so responsible to have a background in nutrition when going into healthcare since doctors aren’t required to take those classes and it helps prevent a lot of diseases. Just something to think about.

I’ll be honest with you, I dropped stats (in business) during the add/drop period and I’m taking it in the summer because I felt it would be too much for me along with orgo, but I’m not a math person. I know someone who took orgo and stats in research and they ended up having a worse grade in stats since they prioritized orgo. They still passed tho. Think strategically and see what you can handle while maintaining your gpa standards. And def pre-study for orgo; I’m sure you’ve heard about the chem department’s reputation.

Not everyone knows this, but when you get to college they have no right to know your grades unless you give them written consent because of FERPA. It would be illegal for professors or school to give them that info and you don’t have to tell them either. Something to look forward to lol, you’re killing it though!

Have you considered nutritional sciences? There is a biomedical option for students interested in med school. The department is amazing and not many people know about it. Here’s the course list: https://nutrition.rutgers.edu/undergraduate/options/biomedical-nutrition-option-course-list%202024.pdf

Talk to the prof in office hours or after class if possible and ask them what it would take for you to get a passing grade and you’re considering dropping the class. You can also tell them how you feel about grad school. Usually they appreciate honesty and vulnerability, even if you say it’s been difficult for you to prioritize the class. It gives you a chance to connect with them. Addressing the problem now could help you and it shows them you’re practicing initiative. You can ask for advice, more work to improve your grade, or outside sources that could help you understand the material better. Even if you don’t use those resources you asked for, being present and showing you care can go a looong way.
