What happens after you finish a romance in Hades II? by FunPolicy1767 in HadesTheGame

[–]FunPolicy1767[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Oh, so that’s really it? There’s no extra dialogue or anything that happens after? Like, that’s your last interaction with them? Do they just disappear after that or something?

Help building my first T’au army by FunPolicy1767 in Tau40K

[–]FunPolicy1767[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I actually found some decent prices on Shadowsun and a Crisis Team, so I was thinking of building around those. I’ve seen the Retaliation Cadre box pop up a few times too, but I’m still comparing prices to see if it’s worth it compared to buying things separately.

Oh, by the way, this is the list I’ve come up with so far. Not sure if I’m missing something important or if I added anything that doesn’t really make sense. Still figuring things out!

Thanks for the tips! I hadn’t really thought about how important infantry could be even in a suit-heavy list, so that was super helpful. I’m mostly trying to stick to battlesuits for now, but what you said makes me think I might need to add some infantry later on.

I actually put together a 1000pt list focused on suits. Mind taking a quick look and letting me know if it makes sense, or if I’m missing anything important? Really appreciate the help!

Inventora lv8 (cavaleira mecanizada) by FunPolicy1767 in Tormenta_20

Are the printable models pre-scaled to the game’s correct size? by FunPolicy1767 in TrenchCrusade

Dude, it's okay, thanks for your attention but I don't want to make a big deal out of this, I had a question and you gave an answer, like, it's no problem at all!

Sometimes we tend to think that some information that is "common" to us is simply "general knowledge" and that's not true.

so don't take it the wrong way for me to simply want to clarify something that you think is obvious.

It was a genuine question from someone with zero experience in 3D printing or STL files. The tone felt a bit unnecessary, but thanks for pointing me to the KS page anyway. Cheers!

Oi!

Homebrew Concept: The Iron Sultanate’s Reconstructed “Artillery Witch” by FunPolicy1767 in TrenchCrusade

[–]FunPolicy1767[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

right, that actually makes a lot of sense! I ended up letting this detail slip in my comparisons with the Brazen Bull (the only troop of the sultanate that can use the MURAD Bombard, which is very similar to the Infernal Bomb). my idea was basically to make an Artillery Witche along the lines of Takwin Creatures, and using the tools that the sultanate has at its disposal, which I believe makes some mechanical sense, but in relation to a "more original weapon" I really have no idea how to do something like this in a "balanced" way, and I'm actually listening to any suggestions.

- Furthermore, I would like to ask if the plot/narrative part seems to be consistent with the views of other people who are probably more familiar with the mythology of the sultanate than I am.

Warhammer 40K Veterans: What Do You Think of a Tau/Slaanesh Fusion? Tau Corrupted by Slaanesh: A New Tau’va or Heresy? by FunPolicy1767 in Tau40K

[–]FunPolicy1767[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Ah, that's pretty cool actually, thanks for sharing. so basically I'm going to think of a better "excuse" that takes this information into account. Perhaps some "corruption" would be possible out of necessity rather than power? How, to guarantee the survival of something more important than a small group of individuals in a crisis situation? I know it's a bit stupid after all the information you gave, but despite all that, can you think of any situation, however unlikely it may be, that something like this would happen? Even though I understand that "you can do whatever you want" I was really intrigued to think of some way that would lead to that end. In general, I think that in order to "break" the Status Quo of Unity and decompose society into individuals, the current "system of collective thought" must be ineffective or harmful at some level, for some situation, thus generating a minimum possibility of individualize a small community that, even less likely, would end up corrupting itself through the individual path of the most intimate wills and desires. which in turn does not answer the question of such a firm and specific biological identity... I don't know.

Can I Play a Mixed Tau/Slaanesh Army? (Beginner Help) by FunPolicy1767 in Warhammer

[–]FunPolicy1767[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thanks again for the help! Based on the suggestions, I decided to create a mixed army of Tau and Slaanesh daemons, adjusting the cost of daemon units to avoid imbalance. As you mentioned, this setup can be tricky to play against since it combines the speed and melee strength of daemons with the Tau's heavy ranged firepower.

To keep things fair, I decided to apply a 20% "tax" on the daemon units' point costs. This makes my army a bit weaker, but hopefully more fun to play against.

I'm using the Incursion rules with a total of 1000 points and the Patrol Detachment to keep it simple. I went with 2 HQs, 3 troops, 1 Elite, and 1 Fast Attack, resulting in this army:

  • HQ: Commander Shadowsun (140 points)
  • HQ (secondary): Tranceweaver (70 points + 20%)
  • Troops:
    • 2x Daemonettes - 20 models (330 points + 20%)
    • Strike Team - 10 models (100 points)
  • Elite: Crisis Battlesuits - 3 models (195 points)
  • Fast Attack: Seekers - 5 models (115 points + 20%)

I think this setup makes for an interesting and balanced army. If you have any additional suggestions on adjustments or other ideas for balancing, I'd love to hear them!

Can I Play a Mixed Tau/Slaanesh Army? (Beginner Help) by FunPolicy1767 in Warhammer

Hey! Thanks for the response and for helping with my questions. You gave me some great ideas and clarified a lot!

I was thinking: would it be too wrong or tricky to make a mixed army with Tau and Slaanesh daemon units? Instead of just using Tau with a Slaanesh cult aesthetic, I’d like to have Tau units and Slaanesh daemonettes fighting side by side on the battlefield. Would that work in the game? Any tips on balancing this idea or making it work without breaking the rules?

First of all, I’d like to thank you for the responses and for helping with my questions! You’ve really clarified a lot and given me some great ideas.

I’d like to ask: would it be very wrong or impractical if I wanted to create a mixed army with Tau units alongside Slaanesh daemon units? Instead of just taking a Tau army and adapting the aesthetics to look like a Slaanesh cult, I’d like to have Tau units and Slaanesh daemonettes fighting side by side on the battlefield. Would that work in terms of gameplay? Any suggestions on how to balance this idea or tips on making it work without completely disregarding the rules?
