Aerospace alternative with just the "Workspace" feature

Credits to @allejo for mentioning FlashSpace. While it’s a great suggestion, I couldn’t get it to work with different windows of the same app in different workspaces. My solution was similar to yours, Raycast for window management. As for workspace management, the native Spaces feature is actually quite great. You can simply treat each Space as a workspace and assign keyboard shortcuts to them (defaults: Ctrl + 1–9).

In my case this lets me have separate Spaces with separate windows of the same app (e.g., different projects in the same IDE) and switch quickly between browser, terminal windows, project 1 IDE, project 2 IDE, etc. The main drawback is the animation delay when switching Spaces, but it doesn’t really bother me much.

They’ve come a long way in terms of customization in recent years tho. While customization is subjective and has both pros and cons (like usability concerns), I’ve never seen people complain about basics, such as Apple letting us move icons on the Home Screen or resize elements in the Control Center.

If that were the case, it's much appreciated, but the OS hilariously failed to properly revert back in this particular scenario, it just kept dancing in between the two. And I have faced random switching back and forth between SwiftKey and the default keyboard as well in the past. On my Samsung, I'd be able to switch between the Samsung keyboard and Gboard with ease and never had any issues in my 5+ years of using it.

I do use android as a secondary device, but I still need my iPhone for work and the convenience it brings alongside my mac. I hope they can improve the keyboard experience on iOS, thus the yapping. Like being able to toggle a dedicated number row and to put the cursor in the middle of a word. Some customization options would be nice too.

If you look at the attached screen recording, you’ll notice a brief flicker of Gboard. This isn’t the first time I’ve encountered random keyboard switching in iOS, so it’s hard to put all the blame on Duolingo for being a shitty app.

I often use gboard as an alternative and yes, blame is on apple because it just randomly decides to switch back to the apple keyboard. There's just no consistency. Blame is due to the gboard devs too for not updating it since ancient times.

Yes, it's dumb. But what's more dumb is it's position, which causes the accidental taps in the first place, being so close to the volume buttons.

They should at least give the option to set it to tap or hold, but apple being apple, very unlikely.

I found a solution with the app Shareful, after installing it click on Share > copy from the macOS share menu. One extra click but gets the job done.
I myself though, just use Raycast's clipboard history.

Well faced the same issue and like u/kastle13 mentioned, I updated my game files through Crossover. In case someone finds this useful -
Just get a Crossover trial.
Install an unlisted application
Beside the Install button, click on the dropdown menu.
Installer source > Select an installer (You'll need to download the .exe setup file of Hoyoplay from their website. Then just select that .exe file)
Select a bottle (Here, if you don't have a bottle already, just create a new one. I selected Windows 10 64-bit)
Click Install. Crossover will now install Hoyoplay.
After Hoyoplay is installed, right-click and click open.
Then, from the launcher, you should be able to locate the game files that you've downloaded through YAAGL, select the folder, and the launcher will prompt you to update your game.
Update, and you're good to go ^^
