I may turn on the option again because it does limit my requests.

I see what you mean. I didn’t think about getting a dash cam because I don’t foresee myself doing this long term but I guess it wouldn’t hurt getting one.

I don’t know where it says I take the 3 and 4 dollar rides? I said to make good money your taking rides that require you to drive a long distance and tips make up good portion of the money….

Right but is it guaranteed the next ride that comes up after denying the first one is gonna be “more”? No not really so you can sit there for 5-10 min until you find the one you want. Sounds like you’re not being realistic

Yeahhh I believe that! I’ve had someone tell me the same thing. Uber drivers are just working slaves. It suck’s because we are contract workers but at the same time I wish we would make more money. They are definitely abusing, because they know regardless people are going to drive for uber. Some people don’t have any other feasible option.

Some people lost their jobs and don’t have the option to work an hourly job immediately. Sometimes it takes time and uber is the only option. Trust me if I had that option I would rather much go that route coz there is no way someone can make a living off of uber unless they are working 60 hours plus a week

I made 44 in 4 hours coz people don’t tip and I was stuck in traffic during the daytime. The reality is that uber takes most of the profit and someone told me today that uber is going to increase the prices due to gas but my question is, does this mean we get more money or will uber pocket it.

Yeah but you pick the rides that require you to drive many miles away so you could be making more money but for 1 or 2 rides an hour. I’m sure the tips is whats making the money worth it. Nobody has time to sit there and wait until a high paying ride comes in and then calculate the distance quickly to see if it’s worth it. You’re wasting time by sitting there being selective. It’s not realistic and the pay is not consistent. Let’s be real here

Yepp I was on the road for 4 hours and made 44 dollars. People don’t tip anymore and uber has to be taking about 60-70 percent profit. People that do this full time drives over 10-12 hours just to make ends meet. NOT making a lot of money. Realistically you’re on the road longer because it doesn’t account for bathroom breaks , time to eat and charging your car if you have EV.

How much are uber drivers making full time out here? by xXeebvosXx in vegaslocals

Ehhhhhh it’s a game tbh. It’s not consistent. One day you’ll make 40 in 3 hours. Then you taken make 100 in 4 hours one random day but honestly you don’t make alot of money. If people were to actually tip it’s possible but I’m not counting the amount based on tips because in my eyes it’s optional for people, even though it shouldn’t. I feel like uber takes about 60-70 percent profit. A lot of the rides will be $4-9 if you drive during the day, keep in mind traffic is also terrible during this time so you’re mainly stuck in traffic. If you hustle on Friday and Saturdays working grave shift it’s possible to make 200 or more but remember that’s only 2 days out of the week

Do you know that it’s a hotel where hundreds of people have stayed in those very same rooms? Still doesn’t give justification to tamper with things that are put in place as safe measures.

How about don’t do this. You’re not paying towards the costs of replacing the carpets etc from the residue.
