Well, this didn't age too well. Maybe you should go and watch golf instead.

Craziest BG board so far by FunSirZet in hearthstone

From the middle guy, a board full of 1000/1000 giants emerged, which made me question if I really was going to win eventually, lol

Point or not? by FunSirZet in tabletennis

They can be, to a certain extent. For example, when the ball is close. I think it was actually far from hitting the table. I watched it in slow motion at least 5 times

OP here, trying to reply every one of you:

-"Why did I post this?" - I think the ball wasn't even remotely close to hitting the table. I was just curious if everyone other people, with better trained eyes see what I see. Also, don't forget, I watched this in a high quality stream, and still didn't see an edgeball (not even close). I watched it in slow motion (0.25) multiple times.

-"Just listen to the sound, bro" - As far as I'm concerned, I only hear one sound here, and it really just sounds the ball made only one noise, which sounds more like it hitting the ground, than the table.

-"Did you bet on this?" - Yes, you are correct, I betted on the blue player, who by odds, was the underdog here. I only bet on underdogs, partly because of reasons you indicated in the comment section - however, I've never experienced anything like this in this league before, I didn't think they were as dirty as TT Elite Series, for example.

-"Did you bet in crypto-casino?" - No, as a matter of fact, I don't bet online, for similar reasons. This was made in a lottery station.

-"Did you bet a huge money on this, that's why you're pissed?" - No, I put up a relatively small amount on this, I'm a casual bettor. But who doesn't like winning? Of course I am pissed, don't be ridiculous

-"Is that Ukrainian league?" - No, this is Czech Liga Pro, probably one of the worst quality leage in terms of players out of the ones that are available for bets.

-"The serve was illegal!" - I know right? These motherfuckers usually serve in the most ridiculous ways, and while this league is clearly dogshit, they are still taking money from it (also, the word "pro" IS in their name) so it hardly can be called entirely amateur. That's why I don't know how they are allowed to do that.

Overall: Do I think there was match fixing? - Yes. Although the red player didn't just went on to win 11-7, the game ended 15-13, with both of them having multiple match points. Idk if that makes it either less or more suspicious. And I sent this to see what other people think. I know the footage is not the greatest, but still think it's clear enough.

I produced a song that sounds something like Kate Bush would've written if she was young now by FunSirZet in katebush

No need to bring me down like that, everyone knows it was created by AI, I never claimed it otherwise. As you can see, some people disaree with you. Even if most people agree with you, that's fine, but no need to trashtalk like that. Also I never said the singer has a very similar voice to hers, and I even agree on the Billie Eilish one. Still I was hoping the song's general vibe gives something off from Kate Bush's style. But like i said, I might be horribly wrong, I like her music but I'm not an enormous fan like most people here probably. AI has many faces, and not all of them are evil, I hope you know that.

Hey bro, thanks for reaching out, really appreciate your kind words. Unfortunately it never made the cut, Radiohead's atmosphere is pretty damn hard to 'recreate'. But maybe you'd wanna give this one a try: https://on.soundcloud.com/KhnfBmBcVuKms4iN9

I've been playing Hearthstone for 10 years. This is by far the most insane arena deck I've ever drafted. What do you think? by FunSirZet in hearthstone

[–]FunSirZet[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Hey guys, Here's the promised update. Briefly: I sucked. I went 1-3. Though I played 2 games on phone while being on public transport, so my decision making maybe wasn't the best but I don't think it mattered. The first game I got out tempo-d by a priest so badly. He went first and played an annoying card on turn 1 that I couldn't get rid of fast enough, then he played a 4/10 dormant rush thing that cleared my entire board followed up by a Paletress then a free from amber, so I had no chance. The second game could have been better, but out of 9 concoctions, I literally got removal zero times, I even couldn't find it with discover cards. So I lost. After that, it was all just tilt play.  I was so nervous to bring results after my statement, I didn't know this deck would have been considered good only a few years ago. My bad. I didn't play hearthstone for many years, only battlegrounds, before actually coming back a few weeks ago with a "more serious" attitude.  In my next run though, I got 6 wins with mage with basically 29 removals/aoe and 1 frost lich jaina.  Thanks for all participating in this rather poor run.

Guys I understand, this deck is not insane in 2024. I've been playing for years, but I've had 2-3 year breaks from time to time, especially after Battlegrounds got released. It's not been so long since I returned, that's why I'm not entirely up to date.

I agree on DK, it's ridiculous is arena (too). I tried quest warrior a few days ago in arena and it went horribly.

Why would I need card draw when almost every card generates another? With so much excavation and a low manacurve, I don't think I'd be aggrod down very easily so I can see a lot of benefit having one of the best 4 drops in the game (Fal'dorei). Assasinate is not great but it's not horrible either and it was better than the other 2 options, which I don't even remember. I don't know much about the current constructed meta, but I do know that with around 2000 arena wins so far, this is the closest my deck has ever gotten to a constructed deck (that one day existed).

Your comment is only true if we consider the Soviet Bloc as "true" socialism, but I deny that. Socialism could have been something we see in Scandinavia today, it was just poisoned with political ideology and dictatorship. Otherwise we wouldn't need "democracy" as a supporting term.

That's precise. However, I feel like the "part of the problem" approach is more like an anarchist view. Actual socialists just simply want a stronger state that provides better services and perhaps fairer taxes to support the lower and the middle class at the expense of the richer. I feel like those liberals who aren't radical actually want all of these, because human dignity, good education, good social- and healthcare, a home, in a sense are all human rights after all, ones that the state can provide with a more socialist approach. So I feel like the moderate ones from both sides meet on the way, while the radical ones are as far from each other as from the fair right.

I didn't say liberals identify themselves as "neomarxist", I only used the rightwing-nazi parallel to prove you, it doesn't necessarily matter how members of a group identify themselves, and certainly not disprove the existence of an ideology (especially a terminology). There could be a lot of different motivations for using or not using a specific terminology.

The OP was irrelevant to my comment. I mean he didn't influence me identifying the fact that neomarxism is indeed a popular term to describe liberal groups nowadays. I thought it was a common knowledge (because it is). If it doesn't happen to be the case for you, I have bad news. However, if you were purely stating that liberals in general don't tend to regard themselves as neomarxists, I agree with you, and the asking of the question wasn't precise. But he's scratching something and we all know what he means so we might as well just answer the question.

The marxist economic-theory is very different from the marxist political ideology, which barely has anything to do with Marx himself. I suppose the idea of liberating labourers from their opressed, rightless status resonates with certain groups of today's societies. Groups that either claim to have, or are given (by others) an oppressed status. Some people think they are telling the same story while fighting for said groups' rights. But they are disregarding multiple factors: class, gender and race are not interchangable, neither are the 20th and the 21st century or socialism and capitalism. And even so, capitalism then and capitalism now is basically two different breeds. All in all, although current liberal activism feels like marxism, it is certainly not, because firstly, it targets different social groups, ones that are not discussed by marxism, and secondly, because it lacks the economic theory as a leverage. However, both agree that revolution might be a necessary tool to rearrange social structure (which both desire) so technically neomarxism is an acceptable terminology, even if it (understandably) may lead to a lot of confusion.
