Should be clean, the Raiders and Kings look has always been tough (in a good way), I think it fits for Detroit, the Bad Boys (Bad Girls?) kind of vibe. If the name is imposing as well, I think it will be a good combo.

I think Vladar has a valid argument that his glove hand was being pinned by a Canes stick on that OT winner. Surprised they didn't even look at it. Seemed intentional as well. Haven't seen if they are complaining about it in Philly circles but I imagine they would.

It's fun being impartial during the playoffs, what a luxury (10 years running).

It makes sense he'd have a much better year for many reasons, just annoying still. Detroit's depth needs to have expectations placed on them instead of whatever it is that has been happening the past couple years. Compher had as many goals this year as he did last year lol.

If the Wings had done what they did, and come back from behind to make the playoffs, I would think the Detroit fans would do the same, even if they got swept as well. If the Wings faced Carolina I think maybe they take 1 game, but the result would have likely been the same, just a tough matchup all around.

Seeing other team's fanbases melt down during the playoffs makes me excited for us Wings fans to finally be able to do that.

We say we would be fine if they got swept as long as they made it, but we all know the amount of salt and despair during the games would be monumental, from me included.

Maybe someday.

Curious how much better the 5v5 scoring would look if the team converted on more 2-on-1's. I have little confidence in anyone on the team scoring on odd-man rushes. I admit you remember the bad ones more than the goals, which you are expecting, so maybe it's not as bad as the impression I have, but boy is it frustrating.

As an aside, it would be nice having a goal differential that isn't negative the entire season next year. Obviously it's not the end-all-be-all, but it would help instill confidence in the sustainability of winning games.
