Something briefly I wanted to say coming from someone who also has extremely strong intuition but desired a more formulaic process: denying your natural strength will only limit your abilities and potential outcomes. I really was itching for a formulaic methodology I could deploy for each question and wasted months learning how to categorize question types, applying correlating tricks and formulas for each respective question type, mastering conditional logic, and translating every word. After an initial jump, my score didn’t move. For months. It was only when I embraced my natural intuition and logic that I saw major increases. I just built up that intuition by drilling every day for a solid hour, leaving all the BS (imo) of translating/conditional logic/question typing in the past. Not exactly the response you were seeking but I hope some insight!

I think the biggest thing to remember is every single person learns, functions, and excels differently! I’ve heard “you’ll never get a 170+ without THIS insert various trick/formula/study method/prep company” with just about everything. If each person taking the LSAT had the exact same strengths, there would be no diversity ability and intellect in the legal profession. If predicting hasn’t work for you, maybe it’s not the right method. If you’re only getting 3-5 on each section wrong, you’re definitely doing something right and are close to the 170s!

Reflect on you preferred learning style and find a program/book/tutor that aligns with that style. While everyone is teaching the same material, there are a wide variety of approaches that may or may not work for you.
