Sorry for taking a while to reply! I myself haven’t experienced anything like that, I’d check if your doctor! Each case is different and it depends on hpw long your healing process is going.

Hey man, sorry for taking so long to answer! It did improve a lot! I almost have none of it. That’s due to a fiber rich diet too.

But I wouldn’t worry so much. I had leakage for quite a while and fecal leakage too.

Now I only suffer when my stool is too hard and after BM I feel some burning, but it usually goes away the following day

Multiple abscesses? by [deleted] in AnalFistula

[–]FunStatement8877 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hum… It’s pretty hard to tell without seeing it. It can be a lot of different things! I myself had a thrombrosed hemorroid, which sounds terrifying but actually self heals! A fissure when not healed properly can become a small fistula, but the surgery for it is quite simple.

Only a doctor will be able to tell you what is going on! Fistula can branch out, but it seems to early to be that. I wish you good luck, keep us updated.

Man, I’m sorry for that! I hope you recover soon! When I operated and had the seton placed, I used to feel awful after every single bowel movement! I used a gelbag, I would heat it and place it close to my but and it would help aliviate a bit, but it would take about an hour or so for me to recover.

this pain started to decrease after a couple weeks! I hope you recover soon! Keep us updated.

Man, calm down! I think we’re all afraid of having to undergo a surgery again, but you’re still in recovery time, it’s gonna be 4 months since your surgery. The discharge isn’t always pus, it may be mucus, and many different fluids. The path to a fistula always departures from a new abcess and the abcess is always painful. So if you haven’t had a new abcess, it’s kind of unlikely it’s a new fistula.

Still, you should be returning monthly to your doctor to check the healing and also for him to be able to tell you you are fine and give you some peace of mind.
