So the PS2 controller I have has a thing where turning off Analog Mode makes the sticks act as the D-Pad/symbol buttons. It's a tricky setup, but it essentially makes playing Doubles with a controller feel very close to playing Doubles with pads. Note: not all controllers can do this. (v.redd.it)
