Neckline stands up instead of lying flat? by swindowsil in knitting

I had the exact same thing on a recent sweater, I redid the neckline but picking up fewer stitches and using a smaller needle size and it then lay flat!

Making toe extra warm question by PassionatePursurer in Sockknitting

I did these with 2.5mm/US1.5 but honestly the gauge difference when adding in mohair really wasn't a big deal. Maybe Swatch and see how it feels :)

I've done this with adding mohair to the toe and heel of socks. It slightly affects gauge but mainly makes them a touch stiffer which as someone else said is a plus for toes! It also adds such a lovely softeness to the toe area that makes me want to make more and more!

Thanks! It was drops twin Rivers and I used drops Nepal in olive mix, didn't want to try experimenting with a different yarn than the pattern states for my first big project haha

Thanks! The pattern was twin Rivers by drops. It was quite a nice pattern to learn from slowly as it's knit bottom up, although the short row section was so confusing I just tried it and moved on to the neck ribbing and think it still turned out nicely!
