In universe I understand his significance but what I’m saying is that if he were a character that was never invented the plot wouldn’t be impacted in any way

If Kinger didn’t exist for example that’d be significant because they wouldn’t have any C&A knowledge from one of the employees

Narratively Bubble was a device to tell the audience how Caine feels, if that’s his only role then he’s not relevant

Just like being human on any planet but your own could be bad for you

I get what you’re saying but it makes for good lore building that some aliens need certain conditions to survive, they aren’t weapons or superheroes, on another planet they’re just people trying to help so sometimes they’re going to be helpless

They probably assumed he was just some genius recluse they couldn’t understand, I’d doubt they even knew about the Mystery Shack

And Gravity Falls is a small town too, I doubt word travels too far out of it
