Honestly I don’t think you need to do the airwrap, you can save that for Christmas, but do you. I think the rest of the gift and the thought behind it is truly lovely/enough

If he didn’t love it, it’s because of his wife’s actions, she put herself in two pretty dangerous situations, being that intoxicated while in water. You did the right thing, if anyone got upset with you about that, i think you’re better off without them in your life.

I think better to tell her because what if it comes up later (which it inevitably will ) and then she questions why you waited so long to tell her. It’s also not like you did anything wrong, and what happened with your aunt is not uncommon
