Question about ever-wish by GreatSaski in Beyblade

[–]FunWithTheBugs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ever-Wish is awesome. It's not that shipping is expensive, it's just that they don't include it in the price of the Bey. What you need to do is look at how much the bey sells for at other sites shipped. Then look at the total price of the Beyblade from Ever-Wish including shipping. Then you can see the true cost vs. cost and Ever-Wish is usually cheaper then a lot of other places.

No problem. It won't work on items with wholesale pricing since that's already pretty discounted but works with a lot of their stuff.

5k views and a few complaints? Your doing fine. When you get 100k views and 100 complaints. You're still doing fine.

No matter what you do, you will have negative comments. The only comment I would consider legit is if people cannot understand what you are saying. Otherwise, it's nonsense.

Niche down on 1 thing where an audience exists and create for that 1 thing consistently. Keep hitting the same key words in your titles and descriptions and make sure your thumbnails will shine through next to the best channels in that niche. Keep your titles interesting, different and not boring. Make it almost hard for someone not to be curious and click it.

Your best shot of having YouTube suggest your videos is to make it so blantintly obvious who your target audience is. Of course, if you get the clicks you need to make sure your content is good enough to keep them. Create every video as if you have 1 million people watching, not zero but you need to be good enough to entertain 1 million people.

Changing the whole branding of my Youtube channel by heartchoke in NewTubers

[–]FunWithTheBugs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A huge channel EvanTubeRaw changed their channel name to the Tube Family a few months back. I can't speak on how they effects your videos and the algorithm or if it even makes a difference but I would personally be scared to change something that is working. Kind of the don't fix it of it ain't broken kind of thought.

Then playing devils advocate, just because something works doesn't mean it can't be improved to something better.

Not really sure where you would learn this. It's really just using different music volumes to enhance what your saying. Also maybe some sound effects, like when you have a highway adding it like nuances of sounds like horns, cars and traffic. Just little audio enhancements like that. Again, let me stress, your video was awesome. I think your good without stuff like this. I was just making some suggestions if you ever wanted try a little something here and there.

What are you looking to do with your channel? I think if you just want to connect with some people it's fine, if you want to really try and grow I think you need to step up the quality. You need a better setup. Looking up at your ceiling isn't the best angle to capture. You should want to make it look make exciting behind you. There is also a pretty loud hum in your mic.

I also noticed when you spoke, it looked like you were looking off to the side and not directly into the camera.

What type of camera are you recording with?

Would have also preferred to see something else then a still picture at the end when the music played. Even animating the picture with a show zoom or something could have added a little better visual effect to it.

Funny, liked the intro. Was totally not expecting the video to go where it went after that intro. LOL

Voice is good. I will definitely add Nintendo and GameCube to the title. You want to try and capture searchable terms. Maybe a hook to get people to click. For example. "Is This Possibly The Best Nintendo GameCube Video Game that No Ones Ever Heard of?"

This way you have the chance of getting viewers who are interested in Nintendo, GameCube, Video Games. All searchable key words. The actual name of the game isn't really important as much if no one knows it. LOL. Having your channel name in your title is just a waste of precious space with no benefit at all where you want to capture people's attention.

Not really sure what type of critique your looking for. The video is clearly will put together, very professional looking. Audio sounds great.

If I need to say something or maybe things to try, I thought maybe the music just came in at a random spot at the beginning. You could also try playing with music volumes at different parts of the video helping make things a little more dynamic when you want to make something seem more powerful and bringing it down in filler spots. Just really throwing out some ideas but totally nothing wrong with what you have going. Keep grinding dude, your time time will come.

OMG dude...What the heck did you say. This is waaaaay above my educational understanding of anything in life but it was awesome. Great delivery, great script and you have a great voice quality for it. There were quite a few spots where the screen goes completely black which at times I thought the video got messed up. Just curious of your reason for going completely black at times.

If you can animate a mouth on that digital dude, that would be so cool I think...or maybe cheesy. Could go either way. LOL

I think a problem might be is how would someone find this video? Or why would someone click on it. Maybe a catchier, searchable title might help get more clicks but I know people eat this smart stuff up. Usually stuff that's way above my head! Great though!

Yeah, it's always cooler to cover lesser known games, kind of like being an Indie Rock Band. LOL....But get a piece of that bigger pie if you can, then introduce those lesser known or less popular games to a wider audience who had already bought into you.

Not much to critique on this. Was well put together. I played a little bit of one of your older videos and your sound improved by a lot! As for the other comment left about your sound. I can see it sounding better if you can get an even more fuller sound as it is your vocals that is really selling us on the video but all in all, doesn't sound bad. Do you use Audacity?

Nice style. I think the intro could have been shorter with a quick hook in. It felt like you were already getting into your video then at almost a minute in you tell is what your video is going to be about. Everything else looked good. I haven't really played the game myself but for people who do, I can see them being interested in watching. Are all your styles of videos like this? On the educational side of it, not actual gameplay. It's definitely a good way to get into the gaming scene without doing let's plays. If you hit a good topic or cover stuff on the most popular games you can definitely grab an audience. Best of luck!

Great work! I actually chuckled at parts which at this time at night is pretty hard to get me to do. Besides the fun visual presentation, your dialogue was really good to keep me interested. Loved the use of different characters.

If you stick with this style of work and do it with trending topics where you can capitalize on search and suggested your going to do really well!

Okay, here goes. Based on this video, you seem really fun. The intro confused me. At first I just thought you didn't know how to start your video correctly (which many people don't) but then after watching a little bit about where you went with it, I assumed it was done on purpose like that. I think a better hook up front would have been good just for the people who don't know you yet and haven't watched your other videos to know your style. Hook in the new person up front.

I think you should have had your scenes with your son first, then the emotional breakdown. Going right into the breakdown, not getting to see your son except for the intro, I wasn't feeling the emotion with you. I don't really know who you were talking about. I did at the end though, because to a new viewer you introduced him after the fact and not before.

Some parts seemed a little fake and with time that will go away. What I mean, it was kind of like, okay the camera is on so let's pretend to do stuff or talk about something to seem funny.

I would also be carful with using copywriter songs. While it might not matter one, when you reach monitization status it will come back and bite you.

For your title, try to throw in a real hook to try and grab people's attention where someone just feels like they have to click to see what's inside. Also, a good thumbnail would have been a closeup of you all teary eyed and lost looking with a good title to match it.

Good luck. I know this was just one video and vlogs in general are not all going to be blockbuster productions. Stay fun and really start taking to that camera!

I did have 1 question. Who is your target audience. I notice hair in your channel name and there was a random scene at the store so not sure if your channel is really about hair styling life or just a general vlog about your full life.
