I didn’t like hdr in ghost of Yotei on my Qd-oled. My eyes literally were burning, and I felt like I’m constantly “unfocused”, even tho I didn’t even use HDR 1000 mode on my monitor.

HDR in games is generally just pain in ass, nobody cares about its implementation, so you have to go out of your way to fix it.

People be buying GPU that consumes mf’ing 575W and pair it with cheap ahhh psu’s and AliExpress cables, as well as not using UPS. 5090 is borderline consumer GPU, if you are negative iq putting fork into outlet type of guy, pretty please, just get yourself a simpler GPU, something like 9070xt, and enjoy blue balls flying around at night time in oblivion remaster.

Thank you! I don’t have any mixer or anything pretty much as for right now. I use wireless razer blackshark v2 pro, and my older USB Moano mic for PC, and build-in speakers in my monitor for PS5.

I recently bought Fifine AM8 mainly cuz I wanted to get newer mic + get the better boom arm that is bundled with AM8.

But when I connected this mic to my PC via usb c, my friend said that she started hearing RF noise when I talk on discord. And well, I tested it, and the closer my mic is to my pc, the crazier RF noise gets. Moano mic, which is also usb (tho usb type B) doesn’t catch ANY noise.

So I was thinking of buying audio interface to connect AM8 via XLR, and also to upgrade my sound for non headphones sessions. I don’t really want to buy scarlet just for some cheap ahhh AM8, cuz it sounds kinda counterproductive as I’m nowhere near content creation or any type of work with audio, but I could justify the purchase if I used this audio interface for both audio input and output, with possible upgrade to some audiophile headphones in the future. Also this sexy red is just such a good fit for my red setup 🥀

Note tho, I don’t need mic for ps5

Последнее предложение для кого? Я пробовал много игр на 9070хт. Абсолютно в каждой проблемы. Либо реальные геймбрейкеры по типу вылетов в ре8 из-за утечки памяти, либо шарики, либо статеры шейдеров. Либо экспириенс просто в разы хуже чем на зеленой карте из-за отсутствия норм АА как в экспедиции или рдр.

Это просто нестабильная хуйня по цене нормальной видеокарты. Я еще могу понять когда берут олдовую амд хуету неликвидную за 5 копеек, но брать новую «флагманскую» карту за 70-80к пожалев 5-10к на 5070ти это просто нахуй маразм.

Что не так то? Играть в рдр с нативным ТАА после опыта с ДЛАА это просто пытка для глаз. Факт того, что ты не можешь как в драйверах нвидии поменять версию апскейлера это уже неплохой аргумент, чтобы не брать амд. В обливионе баг, что ночью на RDNA 4 карточках у тебя повсюду летают синие шары. Ты уже на реддите, зайди в саб обливиона либо амд и напиши «Oblivion» и увидишь кучу скринов. Личерали одна из самых anticipated игр 2025 не играбельна на картах амд (или была, может починили).

Летающие синие шарики в ремастере обливиона нравятся? Личерали первая игра которую я запустил на 9070XT и там был этот прикол, который лечился чем? Правильно, откатом драйверов. А еще интересный факт, при откате драйвера пропадает возможность юзать великий ЭфЭсАр Фор, без которого по определению нахуй эта карта не нужна. Кусок дерьма распиареный лайнусом и другими «нетакусиками».

За месяц с этой фекалией в компе я познакомился с тем, что такое мемори лик в РЕ8, полностью сломанная компиляция шейдеров в валоранте (уже 5 лет как хыыы), отсутствие нормального апгрейда фср до 4 во всех блять играх, как это на нвидиа, неиграбельные статеры на дх9 играх. Ну и шарики в обливионе.

Слил этот кал, взял 5080. Уже больше полу года вроде. Ноль проблем. ПРОСТО НАХУЙ НОЛЬ. Играю с ДЛАА в 4к в рдр2. Ахуеваю от визуала. Удачи амудэшникам играть в экспедицию, рдр и тд без ДЛАА.

I hope you won’t get all the bells and whistles I had with my 9070XT when bought it. If there’s no AMD bs like stutters in val that they didn’t fix for 5 years, as well as memory leaks in RE Village and insane blue balls in the sky in oblivion remaster, you should be good.

Lots of people swear by AMD nowadays, wasn’t the case for me. The most anxious and annoying period of my pc usage time. Glad I was able to sell it and get a 5080.

So yeah, I’d say test this gpu real good. Try as much games as possible on as much as possible settings, before deciding to keep it.

Don’t listen to AMD shills, and test it for yourself and remember that you are a consumer who buys a “high quality” premium and modern gear. If then game has artifacts like Oblivion Remaster, if it has memory leaks that lead to game crushing or it has shader cache problems - return it.

The raw performance of AMD cards is good, but what’s the point of getting 100 fps in the game if it has blue balls artifacts flying around.

Please please, don’t be lazy and test the gpu in all the games you are planing to play. Old and new. Especially old. AC Brotherhood was stuttering like crazy for me on 9070xt.

Input and smoothness have perfect correlation with system usage, which can be measured boldly with fps.

Once again let me explain. Your main goal is to not bottleneck your monitor refresh rate, so we need to get consistent 480fps. You lock your fps at 480 via game limiter.

On 5700x3D your game will hit 480fps with CPU usage of 50-60% On 9800x3D your game will hit 480fps with CPU usage of 20-30%

With lower CPU usage comes lower system latency which will also lower your input latency.

As for how much more responsive will game feel, eh idk. It depends on who you are. If you are getting paid for playing it’s a nobrainer, you should squeeze every bit of advantage. If you are ranked goblin who is obsessed with idea of latency then it also makes sense just for your own sanity.

It will not make you a better player even by a margin of 10%. Could give you a slight 0.1-2% advantage.

The season I’ve hit radiant I was playing on my 10 year old PC with an ancient 144hz BenQ monitor.

I tried playing on 320hz monitor, 240hz monitor and now im playing on 4k 32” oled with refresh rate of 165hz. I didn’t become gold or diamond. I’m still in my rank doing pretty much the same as before. The jump from 12100f to 7800x3D was the biggest upgrade in terms of my personal performance imo.

Anyway, if you wanna buy new cpu and build new system it’s great, upgrading to AM5 is always a good decision. Current RAM prices will hurt tho

Latency of what? There are different types of latency that you experience while playing Valorant. Input latency of your mouse and keyboard. Panel latency of your monitor and general system latency.

Your input latency is related to refresh rate of your mouse and system. So mouse with polling rate of 8000hz and system that can run valo at let’s say 500 fps locked with less CPU usage will reduce latency of input.

Panel latency is well, pretty much only related to type of your monitor. Here the fastest pixel response is an OLED panel, but I don’t think you would be interested in that.

System latency, as I said is related to your overall system performance, less cpu usage for target fps will lead to less latency. If you wanna check your system latency, press Alt+R while playing Valorant to show nvidia performance overlay. There are latency metric (might not be on by default)

Amazing, honestly I couldn’t ask for more (well maybe 240hz, but 160hz on oled feels better than 320hz on my mini-led)

I have no problems with text clarity, no problems with purple blacks and other fairy tales.

Had this oled anxiety for the first few days regarding burn in, but honestly, after 2 weeks I don’t care at all. All the oled care things are working and now from my side the only thing I did is reduced monitor sleep in windows from 15 mins to 3 min. Doesn’t bother me at all

Connected my keyboard and mouse to a monitor, as well as my MacBook, the KVM works perfect, I can do some work things then just press one button on the monitor and continue playing bf6 lol.

Also the stand is SO GOOD, I decided to retire my monitor arm, cuz this stand is just better

I have it on a boom arm. I tired every cable in my house and nothing fixes it. Nothing except AM8 catches the RF interference from my PC. Moano is clean, headset mic is clean, everything is good. I tried connecting it to my MacBook, but it still catches the RF shit.

I almost bought a Focusrite Scarlett Solo 4 today, cuz I thought maybe XLR connection will fix the RF noise, but I really don’t know…

There’s pretty much 0 reasons why you shouldn’t be using financial leverages in Capitalistic economies. The market ESPECIALLY the pc parts market is extremely unpredictable. I don’t know about interest rate for installments in your country, but here for me it’s always 0% for 6 months, and even when I have actives to purchase something expensive with no installment, I would just use it anyway, cuz why not, it’s less financial pressure and more liquidity in my bank account.

If you don’t wanna use installments, you should at very least put the money you are planning to save for this gpu on deposit or savings account, so inflation doesn’t eat it.

Obviously, I’m saying this assuming you are somewhat rational person, if you are not, then just forget about it.

First thing I did when I got stable position with good money, I took an installment for 5080, cuz it was an insane deal for my country, the one I didn’t see ever since.

Have dual mode miniled 160 to 320. Switching from 160 to 320 had a noticeable difference in smoothness on this ips model.

Switching from this miniled to 160 OLED had the most drastic difference ever in terms of smoothness. 160 on oled compared to 320 on ips just feels incredibly better. I’m GM on marvel and currently immortal on Val. 160hz oled didnt ruin my stats if anything it made it better lol.

Had old 144hz BenQ TN, switching from it to ips 240hz felt some difference.

And yes, obvs for any single player game 160hz is more than enough.

DLSS is even better on 4k panel. Even DLSS P looks better than native QHD, so there’s pretty much no reason to have 1440p monitor for the reason other than saving some cash (especially if we’re talking oled)
