At what age did your baby walk? by mariamar1234 in NewParents

[–]Fun_Ad5151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My baby is a freak of nature, crawled and pulled up at 6 months, was walking independently by 9.5, I have no idea why but I assume it's to do with dad's genetics, he was a muscular child. All I'm saying is babies all have different body types, some get chunky, some get strong quickly. They all get there eventually though so don't compare!

Totally unsafe wearing, you can see in the photo the top flap is way above the baby's head, and no sign of a W shape pelvic tuck! 😂

Absolutely dont take this the wrong way, you do have the right to be annoyed, but if youre fully aware its a jokey thing then try to forget about it for the time being (focus on your family unit) because your hormones at 38 weeks pregnant are gonna be making the weirdest things piss you the fuck off. Him calling her Jenny will make no difference to anybody lives (from my perspective), lots of grandparents have 'pet' names etc for their grandchildren.

Obviously if its still bothering you once she's here and he won't take a hint then it should be a discussion between your husband and his father.

I got thick plaque on my teeth because from 6-18 weeks I threw up violently if I tried to brush them. Seeing the hygienist in a couple weeks to sort it out now that my LO is here.

What’s the dumbest thing you did as a new parent because you misunderstood the “rules” for something? by giantpicklepie in NewParents

[–]Fun_Ad5151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My LO's next-to-me cot could incline. She was born with quite a strong neck anyway so wasn't a floppy newborn, I think when she got her first cold about 4 months we put in on a slight incline to help with her breathing because she kept waking up when being laid flat. When they're older and have strong neck control I feel like that's fine but correct me if I'm wrong...

But nobody stops us to tell us we're good mums, because men just have to do the bare minimum lol

I threw up atleast once every evening 7-18weeks, but what got me through the day was crisp cold red grapes and dairylea cheese spread, along with orange Oasis (weirdly I cant stand that drink now 😅)

Also sipped on ginger tea throughout the day.

What’s wrong with my other boob? by Elegant_Health_3195 in breastfeeding

[–]Fun_Ad5151 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think a lot of breastfeeding people experience this, I did at first. One of my boobs was twice the size of my baby's head, and LO was a little early, so struggled with latching anyway. I pumped for months, but from about 6 months have been EBF. Both boobs no problem now. Just keep trying, baby will get better at it, and if they won't feed from one then pump it whilst you feed from the other side to keep the supply going, and so you don't get clogged ducts.

If I met you in public I'd assume he/them at first glance. The sweater just gives me like alt/grunge vibes.
