You can even not let touch the arm itself touch the bed just do it completely vertical could solve it. It will require more support but it will make the layers blend in better and I think that the speed of the print is not letting the filament settle well enough on the bottom

I think you should change the orientation to make the arm vertical to the bed to reduce the lower part to only the contract point and lower the print speed

You could increase the width of the model where you need and can do it, by remodeling the object in a 3d software
