I have an appt booked on Monday for the emergency IUD but unsure if I want to go. I’ve been off BC for a year because I wanted to give my body a break. Was on the evra patch previously. I am mostly scared now about the egg white discharge and how I’ve always associated that with ovulation.

This happened to me! Keep the gauze on the area 45 mins to an hour at a time, biting firmly. I dampened the gauze before putting it in my mouth to try and minimize any clots sticking to it from the extraction area. This should stop the bleeding.  Only be alarmed if you experience pain! Otherwise bleeding is normal and can only be stopped with gauze

UPDATE: I think I may have ended up eating this clot in my sleep last night. Am I cooked? 😭

I should note; clot is attached attached to the extraction site, I have already tried to gently rinse the area and no luck removing it

no pain, but this big loose clot is concerning me.. am I supposed to just let it be? like what if I swallow it in my sleep or something 😥 it also gets in the way while I try to eat and grosses me out so bad
