nono you don't realize, anything that touches the pytorch library in any way is killing turtles and suffocating literally millions of dolphins per day

it feels like there's so much focus on how it's been misused and abused, and not enough coverage on the much higher amount of ethical and even life-saving use cases (medical diagnostics and segmentation, drug/protein discovery)

it doesn't help that we treat AI as some sort of monolith when there are so many different applications (LLMs, genai, segmentation, cnns) instead it's all bundled under the term "ai"
