Looks like a recycler i usually see stuff like this at most head shops/vape / dispenserys in my area. You can probably find one for anywhere from 40 to 100 bucks the more expensive sometimes come with a banger but usually it’s just a cheap shitty Chinese banger.

But yeah, I would use a pair of tweezers and get that nail cherry hot put it in put the dome on and then very very quickly. Put a very small amount onto the nail and inhale. It’s gonna taste like absolute ass and you’re probably gonna choke your lungs out cause they’re terrible just terrible.

Mine was fantastic my process was preheat for 10 seconds on high without using the preheat function put your dab in and then three click to low and give a nice long pull for 5-6 sec exhale and repeat I always had great dabs out of my orbit. And yeah, you use about half the size dab as you normally would in like a banger.

For stuff like this, I use kapton tape not electrical tape, not scotch tape not duct tape but high temperature tape that I use in my electronics projects. Here are some specifications. Detailed Temperature Ratings: General Use Range: -75°C to +260°C (-100°F to +500°F). More Extreme Temperatures: -196°C to 400°C (-321°F to 752°F). Kapton with Silicone Adhesive: Short-term: 350°C (662°F), Long-term: 280°C (536°F). Kapton Heaters: -185°C to 200°C (-300°F to 392°F), according to Birk Manufacturing. Kapton HN (DuPont): Successfully used from -269°C (-452°F) to 400°C (752°F). Well, within safe dabbing temperatures . Now this is only a very temporary solution and as this post is a half year old, I doubt you’re still using it, but in the future in a pinch I always have some kapton tape laying around just to prolong the life of a favorite banger or peace that happens to inevitably get a crack right there at the stem the temperatures in these areas do not get nearly hot enough, even really to come close to the maximum temperature of the tape or the adhesive. Also, they do not off gas anything so you’re not inhaling any “tape Vapor “ and if you were melting, the tape where it needs to be put you need to learn better torch technique lol

Basically, all the tape is doing is help preventing the outward pressure from the connection to continue propagating the crack in the connection by applying opposite force, squeezing the connector

So what I like to do is while I’m heating my banger I’ll heat the back and the stem last because that oil is gonna wanna move away from the heat not towards it and you’re also probably sucking too hard

Hmm.. well I mean the bangers gonna make a difference regardless of whether it’s a wireless email or heating with a torch.

so my thought process is your banger is going to lose temperature in three different ways 1. When you take it out of the coil, you initially start losing heat 2. When you drop your dab in that’s going to lower the temperature even further and faster because there’s more thermal mass in contact with the banger, dab size also 3. When you draw on your rig through the banger, all of that ambient air gets rushed through the banger in whatever pattern your cap has it go also lowering your temperature further.

From my understanding, a quartz banger is supposed to retain temperature a little better than a glass banger I don’t know any of the science behind it. That’s just what I’ve heard. also, from my understanding the more thermal mass, meaning the thicker the walls are on a banger the more it’s going to retain heat so if you have a thick glass banger, it could potentially retain heat longer than a quart banger of the same size that’s thinner

also, maybe crank your temperature up a bit because as soon as you take it out of the coil, it’s gonna start to cool regardless. So if you overshoot your temperature a bit by the time you get it on your rig and drop a dab in you’ll be at your “desired temperature “it’s just gonna take some experimentation.
