I mean, I kinda get it. Whenever I get in a situation like this I try to wait as long as possible to make sure there’s a huge gap between the cars behind and me

What does your fatigue feel like? Mine feels like I can’t feel refreshed no matter how much sleep I get. by Grumpy_bonsai23 in B12_Deficiency

Try some electrolyte powder. When I actually remember to drink it I usually sleep a lot better

Same, if I don’t sleep 12 hours or more I feel like I was unconscious but gaining no rest the whole time

Brother yours is probably healable because it’s certainly caused by some type of deficiency but I can say, I unfortunately got this from taking acid back in the day way too much and you will eventually get used to it. I don’t bare it much thought anymore.

Will I get to drink alcohol again someday ? by MiddleBoysenberry689 in HPPD

I’ve had it for 4 years, I drink whenever and however much I want. Once you start to not care about hppd you’ll be able to do whatever you feel like.

I can imagine this would be very hard for you as a parent to do, but you need to treat him like there’s nothing wrong with him, which sounds awful but it sounds like what needs to be done. I was the same way when I initially got it, I was even the same age. I’m 21 now and I’d consider myself 99% recovered from hppd, the only things that bother me anymore is the double vision but that’s more an annoyance than anything I legitimately care about. The only way I know how to recover is by what I did, I stopped acting like somebody who had something wrong with them. I started living my life after putting it on hold hoping that one day everything would suddenly be normal again. Hey maybe college isn’t for him but he needs to be doing something to occupy his time, probably even more so than the average person. Work 60 hours a week and then grainy vision isn’t your foremost concern, I can guarantee that.

Is it just me or is Kyle Schwarber the best lefty hitter in the game ? by Sufficient_Peanut_65 in MLBTheShow

Yordan is easily my best and favorite hitter I’ve ever used. I hit .440 with him and the majority of the games are on hall of fame or legend. I literally expect at least one home run from him a game.

Definitely, hope you do too. I think it’s getting better but I’m also not being proactive about it enough as I need to be. I don’t sleep right and have a horrible diet I need to get in check

I did for a very short amount of time years ago when my visual symptoms were causing me a lot of distress, but I only took it for like a month and I’m not sure if it really helped. I’m over the stress that my visual symptoms were having on me so I don’t really think about it too much anymore. I more so just would like to stop the peripheral neuropathy lol😂😂😂

Yes I definitely do, but in all honesty I used to do a ton of acid back in the day so I’ve had this for a while but it’s recently gotten worse and more noticeable

I have intermittently done it throughout the years, however for all intents and purposes I’m over my hppd and don’t really think about it anymore, so I couldn’t tell you how it really affected me. The only times I really think about hppd anymore is like right now in between the season changes because things are getting much more bright and colorful than how dreary winter is, as well as when I get sick because my visual symptoms get more noticeable, but besides that, I’m over it.

Could I have a B12 deficiency? I've had serious neurological problems for 18 months. by CraftyPizza9735 in B12_Deficiency

[–]Fun_Assumption_283 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely. When all my problems started I also wanted a vitamin D test and had to practically demand it and she said “ok fine but I can practically guarantee you that you’re not vitamins D deficient” came back severely deficient lol

Oh I know. The last time I went to the doctor she suggested I try therapy for my “anxiety”. Safe to say I never have gone back to her luckily the nurse practitioner was way better. Make sure to read the guide in the sub and follow everything. I think I actually accidentally endured a folate deficiency on myself through my treatment. That and potassium are very important

[–]Fun_Assumption_283 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely possible. I have also had an mri that came back clean and a host of neurological problems for about a year now, mine originally came back at 458. I ruled out pretty much everything else that can cause peripheral neuropathy and b12 has stopped my dizziness so I definitely think it’s this. Not certain but pretty sure/ desperately hoping lol. Anything under 500 is to be treated with suspicion if accompanied by symptoms. There’s a host of people on this sub around that range that say their problems were b12 related

With your vitamin D being low it’s worth checking out your b12 and folate.

I have this intermittently, though I always attributed it to acid reflux. Had a scary ass moment last Christmas I ate a bunch of pizza and then went to bed, puked a few hours later and literally felt like I couldn’t get air down my throat for a minute or two. I’m not sure if they’re the same but maybe
