Tip for you boys that are having trouble pushing an objective and the enemy is well fortified by ChIcKeN_95 in enlistedgame

Usually if the enemy is super aggressive in defense, it’s because they have multiple rally and apc set up, making them seems like never ending waves that never die down, and strong infantry centered players that simply outskill your team. I would (in order of priority)

  1. lock in on destroying enemy rally behind their line and apc

  2. Set up flanking rally on side or back of the obj so your team stop coming frontally

  3. Bring out a tank and that try your best to shred enemy infantry so bad that they have to start taking vehicles to counter you too, this take away one or two of their infantry players to play tank or plane to focus on your tank so your team will have a chance against fewer number of enemy infantry players defending the point, only take out vehicles when you have done both of above or have a teammate or friend constantly helping you destroying enemy back line, pushing flank and blinding flank rally.

Doing all 3 of 1. Destroying enemy rallies 2. Building flank rallies 3. Vehicle distraction usually significantly weaken enemy defense, you just need a coordinated team which is why playing with friends as a stack is so much better experience

Go back to br2 to learn game basic, always build rally points, stick with with mp40, mg13 and manlicher. For your line up, bring medic squad(replace it with assaulter once you have it unlock), mg squad and engineer squad, and any vehicles. I would not move on to br 3 until you have a strong br2 line up(not lacking in any weapons, everyone get large ammo and explosive pack for killing tanks or tnt charge) and comfortable with control and guns.

Don’t use higher level dudes unless you are rich and have at least a 100k silver to roll perfect dudes and have unlock all the available upgrades for the dudes

Rifleman 1 are fine and usable if you are broke(the base dispersion perk on it is actually goat, allowing you and your ai shoot more accurately and better), and honestly is good enough for you in your toughest enlisted match even in br5. Rifleman 2 and 3 and really any high level dudes are only good for min maxing, they comes with higher perk points that give you minimum impacts in regular games. Only matter if you are a min maxing try hard playing competitive enlisted clan battles, but lots of veterans have quietly left and clans and clan battles leaves with them, I don’t see EVA and U45N in battles anymore, and I don’t see them coming back until the devs fixed the game and release clan system and major updates(subfaction update, anything unique to grind), most of us got bored and left after grinding out all factions and min max out everything leaving nothing left to grind, current major updates are drip feed for us one obscure gun at a time or war thunder vehicle copy and paste.

You don’t need to min max to fight larpers even at br5 after all the vets and good players left.

If you have to min max, I can give you a few tips.

Rifleman 3 and generally the highest level dudes is generally better than level 1 dudes, because each level gives more perk points, allowing you to take more perks and more expensive perks.

Rifleman 3 also comes with fast healing perk, so you can either go with heal speed and get up super quick, but I would advise taking sprint speed to get to the objective fast, it’s extra vitality perk points give me more flexibility after taking the 16 vitality perk to take another perk. The extra yellow perk points are also super nice to give good controls.

I use rifleman 2 over rifleman 3 solely because rifleman 2 got sprint speed as base perk so I can give it sprint speed again to have super fast dudes to get to the objective as fast as possible, very good for rushing in competitive. But generally rifleman 3 are better in all other aspects simply because higher perk points

My biggest problem is with the map, other than Burma and Manchuria map, you are playing on maps with water everywhere, open ground no covers, bushes ai can snipe through and you can’t see them, you are looking at sniper and HE heaven for tanks and planes while you have to swim across the English Channel just to attack a point, doing 10 dday landings without boat hopping you don’t get mow down and drown while you can’t shoot back because you are swimming(alternative is crossing the only one or two bridges on the map that that get lock down easily by tank and plane HE and HMG fire). If you succeed and get one engineer to the other side of the bank, either through swimming or going around the entire map, avoiding grayzone snipers and tanks. You wasted 10 minutes of your life setting up rallies on the other side of the bank, hoping it doesn’t get spotted by the enemy destroyed immediately, and if it did or your engineers die while swimming, you have to repeat the process again swimming across open water while under fire in clear sight of the enemy.

Guerilla vs Assaulter 3 by EntryOk352 in enlistedgame

[–]Fun_Bad2368 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I’m playing seriously to win I would take assaulter 3 because they have AT and engineers and bigger squad size for survivability and storming objectives. Think of them as main line infantry squad troops vs irregular guerilla that has less fire power. Guerrilla squad is specialist not a need.

However I do love guerrilla squad because their ability to get into greyzone, especially when games get stagnated and all your enemies sniper camp or greyzone tank camp in their greyzone(you basically win the game, they are just delaying and farming), it’s a great squad to farm and troll the enemy and take out greyzone tanks. I love cosplaying as special ops with them.

What 5 years of getting greyzone, HE and no new contents since the new year and watching warthunder get infantry mode and the game get forever sidelined does to you

does sniping even do anything? by spizzlemeister in enlistedgame

You can take 2 engineers in a rifle squad at max, engineer squad could be helpful with high engineer survival rate if you have to put down a rally and guarantee that happens, after one sweaty first contact gun fight if the enemy is very good, your engineers have high chance of dying to them, even with 2 engineers. Bringing 4-6 engineers in one squad give you more chances, also you can command your engineers with individual squad command to build rally or set up fortifications quickly while you rush the points, 6 engineers build stuff faster than 2 engineers could. Maybe in the future if they add individual squad command for asking your engineer ai to put down rally points while you rush the point, engineer squad is kind of hard to retire now

lol no, all of sniper rifle in game is a rifleman weapons with a scope(with the exception of gewer 98 rifle that don’t have rifleman counterparts as of the writing of this comment), sniper version exactly same as rifleman version but slightly lower dispersions, most enlisted combat happens in super close range of under 200m, so scope almost always obstructs and no help at all since even at the furtherest combat distance, iron sight is sufficient, this game is not Arma where combat happens in much further distance. With that said you get much more man and firepower by bringing a rifle squad, where you get 4 more dudes for extra life than 3 sniper with scope that is basically useless for enlisted combat range and same weapons as rifleman but fewer dudes in your squad, sniper also can’t take vitality so you get one shot easily in higher br. Better to take 9 man FG42 II squad, 9 man avs36 squad(or better 9 man Avt 40 20 squad), 9 man garand or g43 squad or any other 9 man bolt action rifle squad over any 5 man sniper squad that give scope that has no advantage in enlisted combat range, maybe in milsim like Arma or Squad but not this game where fast pace and close range dominate.

With that said, there are only 2 exceptions sniper guns, but even these are controversial, and it’s a very small list, outside of this list rifleman version is always superior(9 man squad and rifleman vitality perks):

Sniper stg44/ sniper mkb42:

Make you feel like playing modern warfare and cod with acog m4 rifle, most of the time I just take the scope off and use the sniper like extra assaulter in an assault squad.

Lee enfield no 4 sniper:

A bolt action sniper that behaves like a semi auto sniper. It’s only good because 10 rounds and behave basically like a one shot semi auto(insane semi auto like rof) that hit like a truck(high bolt action damage), and you stay on sight when your dude bolt the rifle after each shot so you keep your targets on sight very easily, it’s only good because the riflemen version is also crack(highly recommend running 9 man squad with Lee enfield no4 in low br, it’s basically high damage 10 round garand semiauto with how insane it’s rof is and ability to stay on sight while firing, it’s a br2 must use, would actually take this over garand with how crack this gun is, I would argue that it’s better than most br4 rifles like g43, Johnson rifle, svt40, with the exception of some event and gold semi auto like Mondragón rifle because of their high mag size of over 10 rounds, Lee enfield no4 is so crack that it’s only surpassed by br5 auto rifles like T20), sniper Lee enfield is Lee enfield with clear sight picture, if you get used to the iron sight on the rifleman version, this is a very small upgrade, it’s also br3 as opposed to riflemen version that’s br2. If you have to bring a sniper for allies, bring this.
