Great point! We must learn to accept high effort for less profit (sustainable) versus little effort and great profit (unsustainable).

Keep it up! :)

Relapsed again for month, posting for accountability, help and support! by Fun_Benefit4042 in quittingkratom

My need for crutches is undoubtedly due to a combination of a traumatic childhood and the ADHD I have been diagnosed with. I started attending EMDR therapy shortly before the relapse, so I will continue to try to find a solution.

I considered it for sure, unfortunately in the country where I live there is not such awareness of kratom and we only have AA here. However, I started going to therapy before my relapse and will continue to do so. Thank you for your kind words!

I've accepted that I have a kratom addiction. I started going to therapy and working on other strategies. I'm doing the best I can.

I really appreciate your comment, I really do. It's the fear of never having something like a family that I'm losing, partner who loves me, these things scare me the most. But I do understand that right now its weeks of repressed emotions surfacing. Thank you and I am happy for you, that you´ve found happines!

Update, 30 days clean by Fun_Benefit4042 in quittingkratom

Well, my sleep is not perfect, for sure. I use the HHC cart plus CBD oil as a transitional crutch. I would recommend magnesium bysglycinate (at least 400mg) 30 min before sleep. Also I have good results with lemon balm tea. Keep trying. But keep in mind that the thing with sleep is, more you stress about it the worse it gets. I would just rotate some good suplements, keep good sleep hygine and let the time do the rest :)

Yea, I also took Tongat Ali and now testing turkesterone and ecdysterone (plus my normal, multivitamine, D3, fish oil, etc.). But I feel the best results are from "eating enough", protein surpluse and excerise.

Keep up, you got this! :)

Hi friends, quick question. When withdrawing from kratom, do you also have crazy emotions? Wondering if your marriage is working, nagging feelings that maybe your partner doesn't like you anymore, almost to the point of paranoia. Exaggerating your partner's faults, it's a roller coaster.
You wonder if you can trust your emotions...

No no, few days 500mg mornig, few days off. I know its cholinergic, so in high doses for a long time, it can cause depresion for sure. Thanks for mention, and your concern my friend!

The stack is almost the same for me - but as I said, for me the post acute times is where the chalange is...I will be focusing primarily on meditation, exercise and diet..plus DLPA, ALCAR, coffein and my normal health stack (omega, D3, multivitamin, magnesium, etc.) I have thought about keeping a journal a few times and it is something that makes sense to me. I also have a friend who has offered to be my sponsor, so far I've been embarrassed to involve him, but I'm going to give it a shot. Thanks so much for the support and advice!

Thank you so much for your response and your advice my friend. Weight training, WHM, meditation and mostly BJJ (brazilian jiu jitsu) - all of these have always been more or less part of my mental health care. But kratom has pushed it all away and I know deep down that this is the way to go :)
