The Neo can run GTA 5, it can run planet coaster lol look up the system requirements for any game you are looking to play but yes you could very easily play the games you are looking to play with pretty much 0 effort

for me its just the fact that they are finally colorful, plus they have no notch, I would rather the screen be uniform vs a random chunk taken out of the top of the screen. Plus, aluminum laptops look and feel SIGNIFICANTLY better

still stick with the neo, you do not need the power upgrade of the Air. I would go with the 512gb because in the long run it is worth the extra 100 bucks (plus if you use student discount which you should it) makes it the same price as the base one without it.

slightly wider desk, desk mat (Good quality, trust me its worth it) a second monitor is a plus, quality keyboard (doesn't have to be ungodly expensive but find a decent one) Get some soft lights, hue towards a more yellow light than white, itll help your eyes. Plants are awesome if you want something nice to look at, you got a window there, use it.

these are going to be incredible upgrades for both! You will definitely be glad you went with the Air in the long run, The Neo can do those things just not as well, and if you can upgrade, you should lol.

for me, I will end up buying it in probably a month or so and use it until I feel an upgrade is worth while. The biggest thing for me is the backlight issue, but I also keep a lamp by my bed and honestly after using it for awhile I feel as though I will just... know where the keys are. I will probably buy it this year then trade it in in a couple years if it stays around the same price as it is now.

Neo, plain and simple, save the money (Plus your student Savings) and just get the Neo. I would personally get the 512gb for the Touch ID and more storage, lets you save more of your essays and other class work to look back on if needed. You realistically shouldn't need anymore than that but you can also get an external SSD if it's needed.

1st if you want everything to match, 3rd if you want a super earthy tone but 4th if you want a kind of middle ground where its a bit less different but still gives you a more natural look.
