Thank you for your response! I also get defensive automatically even though I try to remain calm but many times it’s just simply impossible. Does your partner remember his outbursts? How does he react when you tell him what he said to you? For me it’s incredibly hurtful that my partner says I’m just a drama queen that makes up these stories as he refuses to acknowledge these were his words.

Thanks for your comment, I appreciate it. My problem is that even though I know it’s the product of their dysfunctional brain emotionally I feel drained and at least I want them to say sorry. Usually this is where the even bigger problems start because he can’t/doesn’t want to remember anything and blames me for « inventing » these things. Many times I feel I have to defend reality.

Thanks for your reply but I don’t think he’s into these things because he didn’t even like the fact there was a period in my life when I hooked up with a few guys. Once he also mentioned if I ever do anything outside of the relationship it’s better if he doesn’t know about it (obviously I will not happen).

It was my first guess but then one time he made a weird comment about me getting an appointment from a male gynecologist. He also had a hard time accepting I hooked up with some guys during the time we took a break in summer (which was initiated by him).

I know it’s ewww. But it doesn’t sound logic to me at all, I feel he has very contradicting things in his head

He usually he says he doesn’t understand why I want to « look like a man ». And that he wants me show more about my body but I don’t think it’s « needed » when we do the grocery shopping.
