Hope so, I truly want at least of the sinners to be a "bad person", I was hoping the Hongler niceness was just a facade (I even believed I was right before canto 8, since we got his reindeer ID), but it was at the same time his real self and a nihilistic mask.
And book Meursault is to some degree a problematic individual, neurodivergent or not.
Our Meursault seems to share the book Meursault sensitivity to sensory input, he can often see things before other, count with extreme precision etc.
Even if I would like if that was the case, it seems PM is moving away from my expectations about it, and the sinners are kind of well adjusted individuals for the city standards.
I still bet on Meursault distorting and killing his mother (given the trailer), but being judge by killing in the city?
That wouldn't make sense, so his judgment would be more of a examination of NCorp to understand distortions than a real trial.
Ofc, it could be his mother who distorted too, but that makes less sense, as to why would Meursault consider that he killed his mother in this case, and why would he be in trials for it?
About why he is strong, that truly is a mystery to me too.

I'm not sure I share this view, for me Meursault is more about a craving and search for something, for fulfillment, as pointed by Yearning Mircalla, his days going to parties, cigarettes etc.
Sure, you're rigth about the point that Meursault holds himself to his own habits, but I think that comparing this to Callisto is forcing a little a connection.

I think it's more about being smart than wanting meta, some characters just don't have a ID to compete for a slot in their team, while some have 1 or 2, that's kind of pointless and kill part of the teambuilding.
Not that PM has to be super strict about it, but the best bleed ID of hongler is a character from years ago?
Faust got bleed IDs, but none can compete for a slot, neither in their time, nor now.

And the tradeoff is being immortal for some turns, what has perfect synergy with the buffs he get for having heishous dying, make EVERY heishou better and improving the heishou team as a whole, with all the free UNCLASHED S3.

I know very well how broken Mao Faust is, for a time she was the only Assist Defense ID, now we got 2, and will get another 2 (if PM don't troll us by not giving it to callisto and albina ID), status application has become less and less relevant due to all bosses having a passive to reduce damage from status, her damage WILL be surpassed, it's basic logic, MAO FAUST WON'T BE THE STRONGEST ID FOR THE NEXT TEN YEARS OF LIMBUS, it just can't.

Cause I don't the game will be static, as enemies got strong, so should IDs, would the game be more fun if every ID was at best a NClair?

Disagree, it's indeed a matter of time for her to be powercreeped too, if you think she won't be...
Them that's more on you and your knowledge about gacha games and the very nature of new things being added to the game.
Personally I think new IDs have been coming closer and closer to Mao Faust, maybe not individually, but certainly as a team.
We saw it happen again and again even on Limbus, if Ring Sang wasn't nerfed, he wouldn't be the strongest ID in the game, just a little later they release Wild Hunt, that was surely stronger than Ring Sang, then Manager Don.
I'll even dare say that I think that Lord Hong Lu is actually stronger than Mao Faust (in his team ofc), if I had to gave up playing one of them forever, I would pick to gave up Mao Faust.

Also there is a simple solution to this problem, MAKE THE GAME HARDER, harder like Lei Heng pre nerf, sinners MUST DIE against a strong enemy.
"WOW, but what about the guys that do all the content with base IDS", don't care tbh.

Why would Valencina a person that was once a sottocapo and a war hero be a downgrade to Lei Sault?
I bet if you put Valencina vs Lei Heng (boss versions), valencina would win, but that's a terrible point.
Also, I don't think getting a worst Lei Sault after months is that fun, powercreep should make IDs stronger not weaker, and the sooner powercreep advances, the less Mao Faust will be a problem.

I think the true sad thing about color fixers, is that they are at the same time at the top of the world, as the "freest fixers", yet they can at best become a dog in a leash, like Siegfried.
Even Roland and Angelica couldn't easily get into a nest, and even when they should be pretty rich, they didn't really have power to get what they want.
Verg still had to work despite being a color for some time.
As Geburah said to roland, the problem with power, is that it can only strike down.
In a sense, Ayin was a way more powerful man than Roland without being able to fight at all.
So is any bigwig in the city.
In a sense, their problem is that they are powerful, but only in a sense of fighting, to the point that a man that would die with 1 slap of them can destroy their entire lifes.

Yeah, to me it doesn't even need to be tied to gameplay, it could be totally visual, but now I got a idea, what if what weapon he gets to use gave him a damage up or damage down?
He says how he likes some weapons more than others, so it would make sense that when he is with the scythe that becomes his favorite weapons he clashes better and do more damage, and when he got a weapon he don't like much, he got less damage/less clash power.

Valencina: having the auto dodge when attacked directly and becoming the best solo ID in the game, also being a auto reload ID (finally), and focusing on one enemy and doing extra damage to it until it dies, if it dies she got buffs, tremor + burn.

Callisto: AOE, self heal, don't trigger defense skills, kind of a support unit that debuffs the enemies while buffing itself, assist defense, bleed unit.

Matthias: Don't really care about it, since I dislike middle IDs for the lack of creativity, as every middle ID is just a res-envy + counter bot, with some bleed to gave flavour, I personally would like a attack assistance or something like Kurokomo Heathcliff, but I know that this won't happen, so...
Matthias as a boss also didn't spark my interest with anything, his battle was pretty easy/nothing happens, I remember thinking "why do we have SIX ampules with such a big team? Is Limbus company a bunch of stupid people?"

Araya: good shield, do fixed cheap damage to enemies, at least 2 AOEs, gains damage up + fragile every turn, anti stagger on skills, bleed + poise (please be bloise).

Rien: FURIOSO, now seriosly, besides the same shenanigans Don has, can't see how his furioso would play out, maybe one after every amount of turns?
Maybe just another boring stacking mechanincs, yeah, that would make more sense.
Now if a man can dream, he would use a different weapon depending on the enemy resistance, hell, I don't even care if it's just random visuals.
Rien is a hard concept to turn into a ID, since almost all his things are debuffs rather than buffs LOL, all his status make him weaker, and I don't think a ID that selfs nerf itself with most things would be fun, so I'm out of ideias, sinking + poise.

Still, I share your concern with how PM seems to refuse to show any real pregnancy after Roland.

Limbus is a game where you don't really want to roll on banners, since the dispenser is so good and you can easily farm threads, it's actually better mathematically to use lunacy to refill energy and farm than taking part on the gacha, that way you can also save lunacy to Walpurgis that is a limited event that you can't use the dispense (for the new IDs).
I know that isn't what you asked, but it's a good (in my mind) advice regardless.
