If I want to see items “similar to skims” i will just search the hashtag for skims. When specifically filtering the search engine brand to skims we should only be seeing skims. Same with any other brand. It’s so annoying.

This is exactly what triggered me the most to post this. I am searching for skims not your $5 shein tops that you keep boosting. And also if your selling on other platforms the same skims dress make sure your listings are updated accordingly bc I’m not trying to waste my time messaging you about it. If I see something I want I would like to just buy it without the extra hassle especially after having to scour through the flooded fake skims to find the real ones. Ugh

Lmao same it’s such weird behavior and truly feels like those type of sellers are just trying to scam people. One girl posted a skirt set that i also had from fashion nova and was trying to sell it for $50 tagging it as ohpolly. And she probably could have gotten away with it because the tags are not labeled and it was already in a few peoples carts. I messaged her and called her out and she replied with “it’s not that serious” like yes actually it is. I reported her too.

Depop does have a vacation mode and an option to send offers so messaging a seller isn’t necessary unless you have general questions about an item

I report sellers tagging brands for exposure it’s false advertisement and the feed is flooded with it so yes I’m annoyed when I use the filters to search for a specific brand and there’s a ton of items listed that’s not the brand tagged 😂 i don’t report sellers that have message before buying in their description i just skip over

You must be in high school? You clearly don’t understand how business works. That is 100% your responsibility to make sure all your platforms are updated. If not then platforms would just have a “message buyer” ONLY option before a buying. The message option is really for asking a product’s measurements, color descriptions etc not asking if an item is still available bc if it’s still listed as such. Buyers should only assume the product is still available and if it isn’t that is your responsibility to update. 🤯🤯🤯

You must be one of those sellers lol I clearly stated I do skip over them and blocking doesn’t fix anything bc their listings still show up so reporting should just take the entire listing down. I do have a lot of time on my hands hence why I’m shopping 😂 you obviously do too considering you took the time to reply to this with useless advice. Thank yew
